Not finnished yet. Barrel needs to come down 3" and a different stock is in the new future plus the new bolt with either get welded in place or be replaced by something a bit longer and sturdier.

I'll have to check into that. I found someone else that sells the prefabbed bent bolts but he wants $70 for them. $55 sounds a bit more reasonable.

It would take longer but I believe he will put the handle on your bolt, thus keeping the proper headspace. Just to be safe IMO I'd have the rifle headspace checked with the new bolt. It's moderately easy to make the trigger pull much better.

Wait, if you were replacing the stock, why didn't you just remove the original and sell it? I'm assuming it was cut back, but I don't know anything about Mosins.

That is one good looking stock! Where did you get that beauty?
ATI stock from CTD. Think I got lucky. Mine wasn't warped at all.

Boo:

That looks like an ATI stock.

Thank you captain obvious. Not trying to be a jerk but you DID boo my thread. If you don't like it move on and don't leave degrading comments.

how's it shoot?
Not sure. I haven't shot it with the new parts yet.

My original plan was to free float the barrel but I changed my mind.
