I have several 9mm's and this was the year I was going to get something else.
Well, a new President and an ammo shortage later, I'm without a new toy.
I've got enough 9mm ammo, and don't have an issue with the round, but I just don't think I'll get the sense of excitement from another pistol chambered in 9mm like I would from getting something completely new and different.
I know others are posting they can get ammo, but where I'm at, I haven't seen anything other than a few shotshells, and .17 hmr since the first week of January.
Things could suddenly change tomorrow, but I have more of a feeling it will still be until early next year.
So do you think I should just get a 9mm version of whatever I was interested in, or hold off? One side of my brain hails all the benefits of sticking with the 9, the other half just screems "BORING!"
