Remington was horribly dirty in my Marlin 60. Switched to Federal and also have several bricks of Winchester that I have yet to try. Accuracy was 'minute of gopher' for any of the above without trying too hard.

Remington is dirty. I have about 1 in 10 failures with Federal. I have not tried any Winchester. So vote is for Remington, followed by Winchester.

I have a box of remington and it is the last I buy. I have maybe 7 out of 10 actually FIRE. never had a problem with federal and my rifle hates winchester although a friends mossberg loves it.

remmy? seriously? you put any product remmy in there; the dirtiest, stinkiest, most inconsistent, poorly crimped, made by Ray Charles- remmy in that list?

heheheh too funny

I like Winchester Dynapoints, but that wasn't a choice.

I agree with the remington comment.
The only remington rimfire ammo I use is their Target 22. It shoots pretty well.

Federal bulk pack has been very good for me. Maybe 1 misfire out of 50, and accuracy is pretty good considering it's bulk ammo. Remington bulk is absolute junk, at least the stuff I've tried. Possibly the most inaccurate .22 ammo I've ever used.

I've actually had good expeirances with Remington. It's dirtier, but I haven't had any malfunctions with it, out of a bulk box I might get one that won't fire, maybe. It's given me better groups than CCI in one of my rifles.

We have Federal here but the boxs don't hold 555 rounds 400 instead. I have yet to see any difference in any of them.

Wow... this is a loaded question... no pun intended, or was there?? ;)

Anyway, I didn't vote simply because I have several .22 rifles that have varying favorites... so I try to keep a good supply of all three on hand... funny thing is, my Remmy 597 actually likes the Remmy GB hp's better than anything else... but the Model Five Remmy like the Federal 510's best... The Browning T-Bolt does not like the Federal stuff, but loves the Winny and Remmy stuff... I have two very different Marlin model 25's... one loves the Federal 550 Bulk copper hp's, and one that prefers the Winchester 333 bulk pack stuff... ugh!!! So, I try to keep about 2500 rounds of each at my disposal... cheers...

I just put Remington on the list for fun. Personally I haven't had any good luck with their rimfire ammunition, not even the Target 22. They shoot worse than the cheap Federal 555.

My 10/22 hates Federal, so I voted Remington becuse I can't find winchester. I do prefer federal trap loads though.

Same for me. I also have a glock .22 conversion kit for my subcompact, and federal wont eject at all in it. Remington works everytime for me. Others may not like it, but if it goes bang for me than its what I am gonna buy.

a couple of my .22's don't do well at all with the Remmy GB and as said before it is dirty.
Federal I've had more ftfire's than Win but otherwise about the same. maybe just a slight edge in tight groups w/Win.
back when (ages ago it seems now) Rem put out the 'Yellow Jacket' in the bulk box I had good luck w/it but IIRC some feed problems with some magazines in semi-autos. sort of wish they still had those available.

I'd buy the cheapest.

Bulk is bulk. Plink for the cheapest you can get away with.

If I needed to hunt, or was at a competition, I wouldn't use any in the poll.

I have much the same experiance, the remington shoots amazingly well in one of my rifles. I don't buy it anymore, because I now have a bunch of semi automatic .22s, and it doesn't feed well in them.
