And lets not forget His Holiness John Moses Browning's "Hi Power"
with all due respect to the st. John Moses B i must say that HP is the son of the messr. Diedonne Saive, one of the Belgian prophets of the Browning ;)

M16

can opps I was going to say 50% off a M16 then relized i was talking about full auto.shucks.I would like to join a gun club but there all to far for me as I need my wife to drive.I drive around town but only go to Columbia to the VA.
I keep looking at the range on 378 as we go by.oh well I have 90acres I can shoot on.:uhoh:
Oh I am a refuge from Mass.and I guess there are many more shooters coming here.

Deacon SC law states i can buy a pistol from an individual but i have to be 21 to purchase one from an FFL. And its still 21 for all handgun ammo. ive gotten around it before saying the 9mm ammo is for my high point but it was at walmart and the obviously didnt care.have you ever been to the rifle silouette or the any of the other matches at MC?

Scotts where at USC do you work? I go to school there

Deacon sounds likes a plan.

Teddy what suprises me is the poeple who move here and hate SC. My old coworker despised SC. Im like dude mountains on one side, beach on the other, and Lake murray right in the middle. Why would i want to move? Besides we have the longest deer season in the country!

Ohh and soon enough ill have a nice FNP as soon as my brother gets the go ahead

We've tried the shooting thing a few times, sort of tough to get the schedules scheduled. :) There are about 10 or so folks on TFL from Cola or close by. I'm a MCRC member too. Teddy, there's a nice club just outside of Orangeburg called Mid Carolina GUN Club - they shoot trap and skeet, have some handgun and rifle ranges too.

Oh, I'm in Columbia when I'm not in Iraq. :)

Country Boy, bet your machinest was "Boozer". :D

AL Thompson i dont follow. my machinest was boozer?
sorry i may have missed something but i just dont understand lol

On a side note thank you for serving our country and be safe over there.
Im torn between graduating and working for an engineering firm or going to OCS for the air force but in reality i think i much rather design guns and do hands on work then fly. I wouldnt mind being a designer of newer military arms and equipment but i think the government contracts all that out

I work in the dept that builds all of the enhanced classrooms on campus and does all of the technical/video productions on campus. I'm based in the Law School, but I'm all over campus. If you have a class in one of the enhanced rooms, I built it!

As far as who told me they werent all that was another guy we both worked with at cooper power tools. he worked there for 5yrs i believe and said hed choose his glocks over anyone of them. he was a machinist.

Thought I knew the guy. :)

Thanks for the kind words, we're proud to be here.

Just an update. My brother and I both work at FN manufacturing now as engineering co ops in the surface finish department. He makes the fixtures for the new phosphate, oxide, passivate, and chrome line and im drawing up all the Operation sheets for the operators.

I got promoted after working in m16 assembly for 2 months.:)

Picking up an FNP-9 tomorrow:D

I did a tour of the FN for a school to work day, I really liked it there.

the firing range was pretty cool. I would love to work there one day...... :)

Picking up an FNP-9 tomorrow

Should have gotten the .45!! I had one of the FNP-9's that they donated to Spring Valley High School for their fund raiser auction. Finally moved it on to a co-worker to fund a VERY expensive Canon lens for my "other" hobby.

I did a tour as well back in high school(roughly 4 yrs ago) and knew I would end up working here eventually.

Ill pass on the 45 until i can get ahold of the new one with the threaded barrel and mounting base for a red dot ;)

Man I'd get:
PS90
a FN FAL
FiveseveN (as many as I could afford in as many colors as possible)
FNP45

Boy you're lucky :)-

Do you have a kid that goes to SVHS?

Had one graduate last year, one a senior and is one of the cheerleading captains and another that just started the 9th grade there. And one in the 5th grade too!
