There are a couple of problems though, the receiver is Al. and cannot take a traditional blue, and 99% of ARs are parkerized. If you could find the right blue and a polished rifle you would definitely have a good start on a very unique and good looking rifle.

A horrible accusation...I don't see it, all of the parts seem to fit [without 1/4 gaps].

I am in love with the full size wood funiture, now just one more thing on the ever growing list of AR's I need.

I normally like the dare to be different approach (take for example the hot rod fairmont I had), but I'm not diggin the wood on the AR.

It's got kind of an older, more sophisticated look to it. Not tactically sophisticated mind you. But the kind of look that says "Listen kid, I've been there, I've seen that. When I was your age, I never put up with bull**** like you do. I can show you the ropes, but you got to climb them".

Well the gun isn't tacticool for sure....its tactistupid.

I think the wood looks nice but when combined with the front sight it just looks silly.

An interesting concept, although somewhat strange.

I have had dreams of a long range AR, with a deep blued free-floating fluted HB, expensive Swarovski glass and high polished walnut forend, walnut ergonomic grip and Olympic style adjustable cheekrest and LOP walnut stock, with all the stock's metal parts done in solid bronze.
