Anyone else have the rubber on their Taurus 24/7 Pro wear and tear up a little? Is there anything that can be done to slow or stop the process?

nah... not holster wear. I dont carry it. I mean, its not that big of a deal, but I like to keep my pistols in good condition. It seems that the rubber is peeling a little bit. I cant believe I am the only one who has experienced this.

9mm grips

I have a 9mm and 45ACP in the 24/7 and when I got the 9 mm I was afraid of the grips not holding up. My wife uses the 9 mm and has arthritis, so she loves the rubber grips. The 45 has the molded grips and are, in my opinion, more comfortable. Taurus claims a lifetime warranty, send it back and have them replace the grips. You might inquire if they will replace them with the grips that come on the 45ACP.

I have a 24/7 in 9mm with the rubber grips and I love them! I have only had the gun for about 18 months and only fired about 2000 rounds through it, but so far the grips are as good as new.

I appreciate the input, however I think I solved the problem. I bought some grip tape and cut it to perfectly fit the grips. It looks nice and adds another element of grip to the gun.
