Pretty Sure I ticked off the gun show dealer today

A couple of guys were asking about some H&K submachine pistol. Pretty sure it was some kind of MP5 variant. Being in an ornery mood, I piped up with "H&K, because you suck and we hate you." :neener: I immediately got the laser eyes of death from the guy. BTW, $20,000 for said piece of hardware. The dealer next to him started laughing, and I said "you read that post too huh?" He nodded his head. I walked away. :D

Not that I would not have been tempted, but I would have stayed away from that one. As a third party with no interest in the transaction - if any - it was none of your business.
 
I loved H&Ks too, then I turned 16 and started actually learning about this stuff. The video game effect quickly wore off.
 
It sounds to me like you were rude and crude

and had no business opening your mouth. I would not be proud of doing something like that.
 
Very funny. But I think that if I'd said it to anybody it would have been my buddy or such person, not just yelling it out.
 
You guys need to do a search here before you start hammering the OP.

I have a friend that is a huge H&K fan and I say these very words to him on a regular basis. He doesn't take offense as I have explained to him why I quote these words once in awhile.

To everyone talking down to this guy, come on. Lighten up. What he said was funny as hell. I'm sorry some of you weren't able to laugh because it would interrupt your situational awareness and a gang of meth head al-qaeda pirate ninjas could burst through the window and catch you off guard.

I think its all in good fun as long as they were walking away from the seller, but if the guys were contemplating buying the gun, then that would be a big no-no. Sounds like the guys weren't serious about purchasing it though, so no harm no foul
 
When people have trouble actually reading they tend to have problems with reality so they beleive anything they can read that has pictures. I would say it's also jealousy that they can't buy it for themselves.
 
If you had said something like that during a sale....wouldn't have been funny.

Given the circumstances though, pretty dang funny!
 
I am curious why you would say that?
Did you think it would be taken any way other than it was?
Human behavior is very interesting to me and I am curious as to your motivation.
 
You have your right to your opinion. I own h&K and it is one of my only 'will never sell" guns - I love it.

As bystanders we always have the right to chime in and speak up. Welcome to America and free speech.
