Collateral. One high point is the "Yo Homie, is that my briefcase?" Double Mozambique!

Public Enemies was also a very realistic gun-related film, with excellent sound effects and some cool guns.

I'll add a few I haven't seen posted...

Blood Diamond
Street Kings
Big Jake
Theif

It's not a gun movie, but "Couples Retreat" had a pretty good depiction.

Couple is sleeping, and hear a disturbance downstairs. Man wakes up and opens his bedside table to reveal a GunVault. He clears the house, and it's overall portrayed as a normal thing to do.

My only problems with the scene are they portrayed him loading the gun after retrieving it from the safe (should have been already loaded; after all, it was already locked in a safe), and his finger was on the trigger when it shouldn't have been.

But kudos for the Hollywood depiction of a responsible homeowner owning a gun for home protection.

All 13 episodes of FireFly, plus the sequel movie Serenity.

And of course; Foxy Brown for the head shot with a Bauer .25acp (baby clone).

The Wind and the Lion is a very good show with the best researched weapon list I can ever remember. Even the ammo was correct. The Brit with the Webley RIC Bulldog is a kick.

hey where do you download your movies from, netflix?

I have heard that newsgroups are the best place to DL movies. With a good "indexing" site and a decent newsgroup service, one can have essentially any intellectual property regardless of copyright status. That is, of course, if one were willing to steal intellectual property and break the law.

A long time ago, when I was more morally ambiguous I might have know a few people who did these kinds of things. I just buy my movies now, it saves me the self loathing of being a thief.

Everyone has to see the HEAT shoutout in LA scene in a home theater setup with the volume turned way up. Its gunmovie 101.

+1 on Joe Kidd
High road to china has a great war scene where Tom Selleck has a louis gun. You don't see those to often.
Legends of the fall also another great gun movie.
