I got his from the NJ Democrats today -- yes I subscribed to them and Democracy For America as you need to know what the other side is thinking...

"Dear Supporter,

Last week, President Obama returned to New Jersey to support Governor Corzine and Democrats across the state because he understands the importance of having a partner who can work with him on making his bold agenda for change a reality.

"You've had a leader who has fought for what matters most to the people of New Jersey. That's the kind of governor Jon Corzine's been. That's the kind of governor Jon Corzine will continue to be. That's why New Jersey needs to give Jon Corzine another four years."

-President Barack Obama at
Fairleigh Dickinson University, October 21, 2009

Who can get out to these rallies to SUPPORT the 2nd and show that NJ is NOT as blue as they think it is...

I cannot be there as I will be in DC, but please people show up and make yourselves heard!

Joe

PS I see that neither rally is being held in Monmouth or Hunterdon counties... ;)

I might be able to make the one in Newark. I sent his opponent, Christie, a letter about 2A, but no response.

From what I gathered from Hannity's interview of him, he's very anti-gun.

Too bad.

I hate to sound negative be New Jersey is about as screwed as screwed can get with the upcoming choices we have. I went to the state house in Trenton to speak in front of Corzine about his task force, I was articulate and well spoken and he just looked at me like I had five eyeballs.

Worse than Corzine though? That would take extraordinary effort. Anti and not interested in it is one thing, anti and actively fighting against it another.

He is not pro gun but he did say:
"I've looked at the rest of the country and we do have very tough gun laws in this state. We don't need anymore"

Which is not as bad as corzine saying he's against individual gun ownership outright.

Corzine has an NRA F-, Christie has no rating. He probably wouldn't be as bad as Corzine even if he did believe strongly in gun control just because his base isn't as supportive.

Political talk is not allowed at all. We are a firearms forum, not a political forum.

Also, if you have questions about the way THR is run, it's best to contact a Moderator directly and speak with them about it.
