I have been reading about the Bagmaster belt pistol pack here

but could not see any information about how to open the top, is it just a zipper or is it velcro? How easy is it to access your pistol? thanks for any info you can provide on this.

I have used the Bagmaster belt pistol pack for years and can vouch that they are a well built, highly functional product. The opening is zippered which, while not the fastest, is indeed safe and secure.

The pistol pack comes in several sizes and, no matter what size of pistol I use, I always get the largest pistol pack. This affords me the opportunity of carrying not only my pistol of choice, but other "stuff" as well. Lots of room in the large pack.

I have one of my pistol packs decked out as per the accompaning picture.

I attach 3" split rings on the belt loops and fasten a shoulder strap to each which results in an over the shoulder carry option as well the belt loop and metal clip carry options. I've used these bags for years and they are a great product.

Bagmaster pistol pak holsters

I bought 2 of these holsters about 2 yrs ago, & I attached a piece of rawhide lacing on to the zipper part which allows me to un zip it for a faster draw of the pistol's, these pistol pak are great for carring your gun's in, as they look like a simple camera case, or a CD player case, :D

Rawhide lacing on the zipper pull is a good idea. They do come with a bit of leather on the zipper pull, but I made mine longer as well.

For quick access, orient the zippers on the top, right hand corner away from your right hip. Pulling the leather zipper pull opens the pouch quickly. Practice this motion and then drawing your unloaded firearm over and over. You can get quick at it.

I sold a number of the small BPPs to people who just wanted to have something to put their money and stuff in while going to the casino. I suppose that they have multiple uses.

At StraightShot Shooting, we sell these at a bit of a discount www.StraightShotShooting.com

Stay safe.

I'm a big fan of holsters that don't look like holsters (e.g. Safepacker and Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack). The bagemaster looks like a solid product, but I think that the velcro on my safepacker would allow for quicker draw.
