If all your guns had to come from one manufacturer...

One manufacturer or one owner. Ceribus, I think that's how you spellit, owns Marlin, Remington, and a couiple of other manufacturers.

Ruger...

• Carry guns: LCP, LCR, SP101, SR9
• Nightstand: P345
• General woods carry: GP100, Blackhawk, Super Blackhawk, Redhawk, Super Redhawk Alaskan
• Fun/plinking/target: 22/45, MKIII, Single Six, Bearcat, 10/22, SR-22
• Defensive rifle: SR556
• Hunting rifles: M77's of various configurations in the following calibers: .22-250, .243, .308, .30-06, and .375H&H
• Shotgun: Red Label 12 gauge

Wow. I never realized how many bases Ruger covers. The only thing I would miss would be a rugged 12 gauge pump. I'm sure they'll come out with one eventually. That seems to be the only thing Ruger doesn't make.

add another for ruger.

i'd feel better about it if they made a 1911 and a pump action, but even without those, i think they cover the bases pretty well. CZ would be a close second. i'm not sure it's within the spirit of the rules to count the old DW revolvers, though. they were discontinued prior to CZ ownership. i also agree that CZ isn't really "one manufacturer". so if that takes them out of the running, it's ruger by a mile. they may not win any one category, but they cover a lot of territory relatively well.

Smith and Wesson (good ARs, good revolvers, good 1911s) would probably get my nod, with maybe either Springfield Armory getting the other part (between 1911s, Garands, and 1903s, that's basically everything covered).

Ruger

I would say Ruger without a doubt. Pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns...they cover all the bases with quality products and they're an American company!

I'd want to have a shotgun, rifle, pistol.

I'd probably go with Ruger as they make an awesome mini-14 (I'd choose it in a heartbeat over an AR) and I love their 10-22. Pistol would be adequate. I don't know much about their shotguns though so it makes me hesitate.

Another company would be Winchester. I love their Defender shotgun and I can get a Garand or M1 carbine. They have lever actions and bolt actions. The only unknow is what kind of pistol choices would I have.

While all the rest of you are waiting for your firearms from Ruger to come off backorder, I'll be enjoying all my guns from Springfield Armory.

Should be plenty in stock as nobody else wants any M1A's, quality 1911's, XD's or XDM's.

Of course, I will probably use the extra time with my firearms to practice my shooting skills......

...something tells me dove hunting is about to become very difficult.

S&W; dads Model 10 Duty .38spl that he purchased in 1953 when he joined the NYPD and used for 40 years (its mine now) has conservatively had over 60,000 rounds through it without a single problem; the gun is original, never serviced and the trigger is like grease. Every Smith I've owned has been 100%; the only manufacturer I can say that about.

Not too difficult

I would go with S&W. They make a quality firearm. They offer reasonable prices. Their line up includes all the size and calibers I would need.

Colt or Smith and Wesson. Colt makes the better Rifle, S&W makes the better handgun. Either would work well for me.

If it is a .45 cal semi-auto pisol then it has to be a Colt mfg before 1960. I popped my first cap on a 1911(not 1911-A1)at age 9. Do I like old Colt semi-autos-YES! Yeah, I have a bunch of them.
