In my attempt to look for some good pistol racks I stumbled on this forum.

Nice forum by the way.

I was looking for door storage options but have determined that I won't be able to stash pistols on my door because there is little to no clearance between the door and my shelves, etc. Just too tight and I don't want to risk the pistols.

But I decided if I could get some of the other stuff off my shelves, mags, knives etc. I could use that space for pistols, etc.

I found this site that has the Browing Duo storage system and I want it but I have a liberty safe (50 CF) and they don't sell that nice mess pocket, loops system seperate from their safes. Check out the Door

Then I found this but it isn't big enough

Then I found This. It is the right size but the HUGE pockets at the bottom don't do anything for me.

Anyone ever see anything like the Browning door module or comparable?

Thanks and again. Great site.

Yeah, I know it part of the rear panel of the door. I want something like that on the rear panel of my door...

I am going to check with Liberty and see if they can retrofit their new panel system onto my existing safe.

Bet they won't but who knows.

If you have a Liberty, they should be able to sell you their version. Shipping will probably be expensive. It is essentially a piece of drywall with the system glued to it. They would have to crate it to keep it intact.

The Liberty is only set up with pistol pockets. It will not hold long guns like the Browning will.

the idea is there but you need clearance for the hooks & the guns.
to allay comments about stack-on, this 'safe' is inside a secure area.

I ordered a 34" manabout pistol rack today so I think I am going to go with the stac-store model..

Inexpensive, and will give me a place for the pistol grips, magazines, tools, etc that are taking up shelf space. I have an e-mail in to Liberty about retrofitting to my current safe. (Listened to a YouTube commercial that said it wasn't possible). I will update on possibility and cost....

Thanks for the opinions.

If you want to go ghetto, like me, you just drill holes and install some hooks and/or attach points for small bungie cords etc.. Maybe I can only do that cause I have a cheaper safe... I don't know about you rich guy safes. ;)

I got word back from Liberty that they would not retrofit an exisiting safe with the door panel. I went on to tell them that an after market panel would be something that people would buy I was told that many people feel that way and I should write a letter to their CEO. (interesting).

So I think I ma going to go with the This..

Thanks for all the comments..

By the way for the guy with the bungee cords comments. I am not interested in the door panel so much for the pistol storage but the pockets to store ancillary things...
