I have been trying to find one for myself for Christmas, and all I have been able to find are other models of the P238, mostly the rainbow finish which I find to be incredibly tacky. I tried calling both of the dealers that I usually go through, the first (who is usually cheaper) couldn't find it in the manual and instructed me to call sig to get the ordering info. The gentleman at sig just said "if the dealer can't figure out how to order a gun, I'd find another dealer, look on our website for one of our direct dealers". I called the other dealer I usually go through (usually over-priced but friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful) who said that it would take forever to come in, and told me that they had one that they ordered for a guy.....it took 6 months to come in, and once it did, the guy has had nothing but problems with it crushing the casings. I HAD made my mind up on this as my cc weapon...... but now I'm wondering if I should reconsider. Does anyone else have this particular piece, and if so what if any problems have you had with it?

Shows 3 of the P238 with rosewood and night sights in stock. Call Jaymie and see.

I bought a SIG X-5 Tactical t/b from him Saturday at the gun show, so I don't know if he's sold the guns still listed on his site. I paid a little less than what gets listed in the shopping cart
($1399) when you add a gun to it. Stupid MAP pricing nonsense.

I think it's the top one, but I don't have the gun in front of me to check the number.

There have been a lot of posts on this lately, so to paraphrase my earlier posts... zero problems after a good cleaning and greasing the slide. Shot 300 rounds in one session without cleaning and it was flawless. planning to use mine as a pocket gun in an RKBA holster and also as a BUG at times.

Best sights I've seen on a small gun. Nice trigger. I'd buy one again.

I got mine through Peak Firearms on the Sig Forum. He's in Utah, was a pleasure to deal with and the deal was painless.
Maybe do a search on the forum.
I don't know if I should give out his e-mail address, PM me if you're interested.
I got mine in August, and it's my new favorite.

What grips do you have on your two tone? I've seen them before and think I am starting to like them enough to try and find some.

Yeah, those are the Two-toned ones. My wife is quite picky, and wants the all-black version with the nitron sights and rosewood grips. We've both been looking everywhere for these things, and are coming up empty handed again and again :) Any links are appreciated to vendors that have them in-stock!

That's too bad, but I'd still e-mail Jaymie and ask. He's really into SIGs.

See the X-FIVE PROTOTYPE PISTOL "FATHER OF THE EQUINOX" for
$5999.00 on his site? He said he has a consecutively numbered one coming from the owner that he tracked down.

He might just know somebody with one or have one ordered.
