Looks just like mine. I bought a pair of black aluminum grips to replace the OEM wood grips. Its a good looking gun with the black against the stainless and the brushed parts.

Just put 250 down the pipe tonight... I love my Kimber's and Dan wesson but This one is amazing..

I just changed out the two-piece guide rod on my Springfield Loaded 1911A1 and used an Ed Brown 1 piece guide rod (short GI style) and spring plug. No more of the two piece rod wiggling loose. I swear accuracy of the gun increased. You might try it as well. Cost about $28 in parts from Midway.

I may try a new guide rod... why not ya know?... This is so scary accurate already, i couldn't imagine it being better

I never knew that the guide rod was connected to the sights.

I almost asked if you meant 250 rounds or $250 of ammo, then I realized that with the prices of some .45 ammo you could have meant both. :D

Seriously, you have a good looking gun there.

That is sexy much, makes me not want to even look at my plastic guns. I think my next pistol will be a full size 1911

Very good looking Loaded. Hate to say this....it's too nice to shoot.
Who's grips?
