It's men like your son who make and have made this country great. God bless him and may God grant you the wisdom to get through this trying time.

Nothing I can say will ever take the hurt away.

But, let it be known that you and your family are in our thougths
and prayers.

May God bless you and your family and give you peace.

May he also keep safe all our troops who are in harms way.

Jon

Dearest Lord, Guide our son, our light, our dearest possesion, the love of our lives through this brief darkness. See him through towards your presence in eternal peace. We pray you help his family and our country see the supreme sacrifice our fellow soldier, citizen & father has paid and help us continue on for all the good and hard work he has done...

I mourn your loss as my own as well. It is a tough time to have this happen, to anyone...

May GOD speed to your family's every need, as we remember all those
brave young men and women who have paid the ultimate price; past
and present. Charlotte and I wish to extend our family's sympathy,
condolesences, and prayers too you and yours; as we know it will
be a difficult time.

The DoD press release on his death just hit my inbox about an hour ago...my sincerest condolences to you and your family.

Like others have said, know that he died doing what he felt was right and honorable, and that he will hold his head high when it comes times for judgement...

Their is nothing anyone can say to relieve your pain except that we'll say a prayer to God for your son and you.

Even though we're complete strangers, I believe you love your son and are proud of him. You should be. He gave everything to allow and you and and all of us to raise our families in a free country.

May God bless Elijah.

My deepest and sincerist sympathies for you and your family in your loss.

Always remember, for while they might not walk with us any more, as long as there are those who remeber, they live within us.

For being great and true Americans I thank you. There is no question that your family gave the ultimate sacrifice. I am humbled by how little my words can never comfort the loss of Elijah. I shed tears with you today and may God Bless you and your family.

Manny.

May God bless Elijah and his family in the difficult days to come. I will pray for his family this evening and especially his wife and daughter who lost a husband, and a father. RIP to a true American hero and role model.

May God bless Elijah. My prayers are with your family. I'm at a loss to describe what this sacrifice means to me, but I thank him and all the soldiers who bravely defend this country.

Another Brave American Soldier has given his all for Freedom. You all and He are in my prayers.

Sincerly, Sfc US Army Inf (Ret)
