Best semi-auto

What is the intended purpose of your collection?

...Ruger KP90DC....45ACP Stainless Decocker...used market $300-400...strong, reliable, powerful...will probably last 3 generations with minimum care...

I would recommend that you look at the Springfield XD line of handguns. I own many semi-auto pistols from Colt, S&W, EAA, Ruger, Iver Johnson and Springfield. I choose the XD's for daily carry and just plain fun to shoot.

I've had great luck with my Glock 22.

SIG P226 .40S&W, Colt M1911 .45ACP and Glock G20 10mm. CZ, FNH & H&K make good choices also.

40SW - Beretta 96FS Elite 1A

45ACP - HK45

10mm - Colt Delta Elite

GLOCK they go bang every time you pull the trigger

Glock 22...ammo is not hard to find.

If you recommend it, I will buy CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical .40s&w.

I have never fired one, but have fired other CZ products. And I would recommend it.

Glock 21.....uber reliable. (with NY trigger)
springfield Loaded. also quite reliable.

BHP's in .40.

glock 22, it's like a toyota camry. you will not regret buying one.

Ummm, there's a lot of great full size guns out there. But if you are wanting a "Collection", and you don't have a SigSauer P220 in 45acp,,,, well, then you are missing arguably one of the GREATEST pistols of all time. Some people may want to debate which one is #1; but the Sig P220 is usually in that argument.

The best 1911 in .45 ACP that you can afford.
