Last week I walked into a local gun store to just have a look around. I was eyeballing the 1911's when I spotted a brand new WASR 10/63 on the wall for $329.

I asked the sales person what was the deal, why so cheap?
"It is a great deal...We have quite a few in stock, and that price actually includes 3 magazines and 80 rounds of ammo."
What?!?! Really?!?! It seems every other store in the area is asking $475- $550 for a WASR..... So I immediately bought one. Early x-mass gift. ....not that I really need an excuse.

I went back with my two buddies that night and they each bought one. When We got home and inspected the boxes, the price tag said $549....and when I peeled that sticker back, the one underneath it said $699!!!!! :what: :barf:

Looks like they got a little toasted on the post election mayhem and weren't able to move $350 rifles for $700 :neener:

Anyway, got a brand new WASR 10/63 with 3 mags and 80 rounds for $357.21 out the door! No mag sloppiness & no canted front sight. :D

and a cup of coffee I see!

Great deal! I've been wanting an AK for a while now, where is this store?

Cool, so you got a good deal on the rifle, then went out and blew all the money you saved on a cup of Starbucks.

Those ARE good ol' days prices. Grats! Personally, I'd like to see a fresh new load of demilled AK kits with barrels intact hit the market at pre-election prices.

With all the extra goodies that's a darn reasonable price.

Damn, I hope I can get everything else on my "want" list before the White House does something to drive the prices up again.

No kidding on prices falling. I'm having a hard time deciding if I want a can for my P22 or a PSL.
