Big ticket, in order: safe, S&W 5906 & holster rig, 18" pump action scattergun, Taurus 85 or Ruger LCP, Glock 23 and holster rig. Possibly an entry-level reloading setup.

Miscellaneous gear: another Surefire to back up my trusty 15-year-old 6P (LED? Maybe...), more tac folders, I'd like to pick up an Applegate-Fairbairn and one of the older model S&W SWAT knives, spare mags for the guns.

Training: I want to take some classes from FAS in '10/'11 and I'm going to take a gun safety class with my wife so she can get familiar with safety concepts.

I already own 11 handguns but there are so many interesting ones out there to own.

(1) Any inexpensive but reliable .40 S&W. Perhaps a S&W Sigma or a Bersa.

(2) A .22 revolver, either a Charter Arms or a Taurus.

(3) TT Tokarev or clone in 7.62X25. I already have a CZ-52, but want another option in that very cheap surplus caliber.

(4) If I happen to win the lottery I would get one of those FN 5.7 pistols. Of course they are controversial, but also strangely tempting.

(5) A Ruger .357mag GP-100 with a 4 inch barrel.

(6) Always wanted a Beretta Cougar 9mm, just because they looked cool. Would settle for the Stoeger clone.

(7) Lost my E. German Makarov to a burglar. Could use another.

(8) Any .44 magnum or .44 Special revolver.

(9) One of "them thar" 10mm Glocks.

(10) Masterpiece Arms 9mm MAC Clone (just for fun).

Really who knows what I'll end up with though. Something new may catch my eye or I may stumble across a deal too good to pass up or I may scratch something form my list.

The sad part of making this list is that even if I get everything on it there is still a lot of stuff I want. Oh well there is always 2011 (or the outside chance of gigantic financial windfall.)

Possibly one without the internal lock. Ive noticed that they've started producing some of those.

My dad got one (on my advice). Doesn't shoot terribly easy (recoil-wise), but limiting range trips to 50rds or less should suffice. Carries very well, and is well made IMO.

It will do as my main CCW piece, with my Smith Model 10 as a winter piece and my NAA black widow as the dress/summertime no clothes on piece.
