Just a heads-up on our shipping situation here. You may know that we've been hit by two blizzards over the past week and have a lot of snow. A whole lot, and it's so cold (one degree F. right now) that the county and state road departments aren't even trying salt. It's at the point now that as of yesterday, USPS won't pick up from us until the roads improve. So, we're sitting on about 25 cartons ready to go from yesterday and we'll have another 25 or so today. I'm assuming no pickup today as well (haven't heard from them as yet, this morning.) The plan is - if no pickup today, we'll go ahead tomorrow and try to make it to the post office ourselves with the cargo.

So this is just to let you know that we haven't forgotten about anyone who's ordered; we're just at the mercy of this old-time winter weather.

Oh, and our furnace blower went out night before last, so it's pretty cold in the house. The shop is nice and warm, though :)

Thanks for reading and your understanding.

Brad

Keep warm, Brad!

Thank you for you outstanding customer service. I believe most understand how weather effects operations such as yours.

I have almost made it through my first order of .357 Action! and 9mm Smallball!. Will be ordering again from you real soon.

Take care.

See, global warming is now affecting businesses across the nation!!

Hang in there, Brad. This too will end and we can all get back to work.

We are catching heck here at the hospital with complaints of being cold. There are a couple of waiting rooms with automatic doors to the outside that we can not keep warm. (Poor design-The don't think it gets cold around here. Well, it doesn't....much.) The systems are working at max, but can't keep up. :uhoh:

Well, so much for "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." I wonder if that's an Obama administration "upgrade" ??

rfwobbly...you attempt to give too much credit to Pres. Obama. This problem has been in existence for several of the past administrations before Mr. Obama stepped up to the plate.

Give credit where credit is due...

It's 26 degrees outside, right now, in northeast Houston metro area. The low tonight is supposed to be around 17, and tomorrow's high won't hit today's.

I'm sure glad we have global warming...

In the summer we say "it's not the heat, it's the humidity." Today I'm saying, "it's not the temperature, it's the wind!" It cuts right through coats!!!

Hope your heater gets fixed soon, Brad. Snuggle up to your sweetie. It helps. :D

BTW...I knew it was cold up there when I saw you wearing long sleeves on your shop cam. Is it really that noisy in there, or is it just the location of the camera? It sounds like a Kansas hailstorm on a tin room...and that's before the air compressor kicks in!!!

We were wondering about MO weather today at lunch. It was 18 here at noon in Little Rock. I had a scope I was expecting delivered today but the UPS in Louisiana was experiencing weather related trouble as well. It'd downright nasty out.

Man, think how cold it'd be without global warming!

Furnace got fixed this morning. Yayyyy!!! Had to drive up to the road to ferry the repairman down here. No way could he make our driveway, same as the mail lady.

It has been one degree F the last 3 mornings. It's up to 9 now. Unbelievable weather this early in the winter.

Yes, it really is that noisy in here, I'm estimating 115-125 decibels. Need to measure it. We have hearing protection but don't usually wear it. Should, though.

17 tonight in Texas ought to be a rude shock to you :)

Speaking of blizzards & delivery service.

I was digging the little mail truck out of a snow drift the other day.

I mentioned to the mailman that he should have put his chains on and he wouldn't be getting stuck at every mailbox on his route.

He told me the new postmaster lady sent all 40 sets of chains to Detroit as a cost cutting measure she could put on her annual review.
She told him "we don't need tire chains in Kansas anyway"!!

I told him the next time he gets stuck, he should call the new postmaster lady to come dig him out!

I dont believe in Global warming, but have read a few articles which state that the phenomenon can trigger an ice age. I just think its a normal cycle.

However keep warm, I am sure your customers appreciate the heads up and understand. I just wish I could get your bullets in France. :)

You're going to need to speak up. I can't hear you from the constant ringing in my ears due to refusing to wear ear protection 40 years ago. :banghead:

They say here in Arkansas that we are suppose to have a heat wave next week. It might get above freezing. At least the roads are clear.:D
