Anything made for the older Savage short action will work. There are plenty available. It is harder to find anything for the newer Savage rifles. www.bellandcarlson.com is a good start

Look at savage aftermarket stocks for your short action length. You will need to know if you have older style staggered feed or the center feed.

Savage Centerfire Action Length Identification. To help determine what action you have, here are the action screw center-to-center measurements.

Long Action: 5.062" (all years)
3rd Gen Short: 4.400" (2006 - present)
2nd Gen. Short: 4.275" (1998 - 2005)
1st Gen. Short: 4.522" (1959 - 1988)

Also you should check out boyds gunstocks. They offer thumbhole and regular. Stock that are about 95 % inletted and the eel great to shoot.
