I'm looking for suggestions on the best optics I can get for less than $350. The scope will be going on a .25-06. I would really prefer to have something larger than 9x. 9x is okay, but I've really gotten used to the higher magnification like 12x and 14x. I've been thinking about getting one of the new Redfields and giving it a go. I've got 2 Nikons, a ProStaff and Buckmaster, a Simmons Whitetail Classic, and a Bushnell Legend. I would really like to try something new, maybe a Weaver? Help and suggestions would be great.

I like the Burris Fullfield II 3-9 40mm scope I have on my Remington CDL. It's nice and bright and one can get them for $199 or so.
I don't have experience with other scopes other than those I've looked through at the pawn shops (tascos mainly).
I do like this Burris though. If I got another rifle, no, when I get another rifle I'd get another Burris without reservation.
Natchez Shooters Supplies has a 4.5X-14X 42mm for $379 with a free spotting scope. A little above your price but not too much.
Hope this helps.

If they'd lose the spotting scope and drop the price even a little, I'd go for it. But I'm not interested in the spotting scope and it's more than $350, even if just by a little. I'm not saying that's a deal breaker, but there is something else of similar quality for under $350 then I'd probably go that route.

Hadn't thought about the VX-1. Good thinking! I'm seeing them online for around $300.

I've got a Buckmaster already. I believe it's the 18x with the big turrets. I do like that scope quite a bit. I just thought I might expand my selection a little bit more. Try some things that I haven't had a chance to yet.

Well, it's going on a .25-06 Encore barrel. It will actually be a little of both. Hunting primarily and target shooting secondary. But I hunt a lot of open fields, so a 300 yard shot could be possible. That is why I'd prefer to have something a little bigger than 9x.

I don't own one (so take my advice for what it is) but I've heard good things about Konus M30 Scopes. I'm planning on getting one myself. They also have a lifetime warranty so if you do get a dud you can get a new one. They're ~$350 on amazon.com for their best one.

Coyotes. I know that 9x is more than adequate. But I like the extra magification, especially if I want to use it for paper punching too.

I love Burris. 4-12 Short Mag on my 300WSM, FF II 3-9 on my 460, 2-7 Timberline on my 1895 SBL and 4.5-14 on my 270. I have owned previous brands but Burris is the way for me

SWFA fixed 10x (aka Super Sniper)? Poke around and you can find it for that price, and it is pretty highly regarded as a great piece of glass. Less moving parts = better glass for the money.

I have one with the side focus and I've been more than happy with it for the past several years.

I know you said you already have a Bushnell, but on amazon.com there is the Bushnell elite 3200 5-15x 40mm for $288 shipped. Although, I haven't used this scope yet and buddy of mine has it and tells me that it is one of the best he has personally owned. I ordered one last week. If you like big objective diameters, I was kicking around the idea of buying the Millett Buck Gold 4-16x 56mm for $280 plus shipping. I don't know much about them but they seem to have good reviews.

Have a Sightmark 8.5-25x50 that is a much better scope than the $200 price tag would lead one to believe, has 1/8" adjustability and being 30mm has good brightness, have mine mounted with Burris Extreme Tactical mounts and like it a lot
