H2O MAN beat me to it.
After detached contemplation, a very portable single-barrel 23 or 37 mm cannon would be enough for your humble servant.

Otherwise, a free 5,000-rd. heap of 30-06 ammo (for a CMP M-1 Garand), or same modest quantity in .308 for an HK G-3 or FN FAL.

Something in a English walnut stock, oil finish, with Bavarian lines, exotic wood for the tip and grip cap. Pachmayr recoil pad. A brushed stainless barrel, everything else blued. A two stage trigger, jeweled bolt, blueprinted Mauser style action, Remington style safety, glass bedded stock. Leupold Std gloss base and rings with a silver 4-12 x 40 scope to compliment the barrel/action contrast. Oh, and it would be chambered in 6.5x284.

I'd marry something like that! :p

Holland and Holland Mauser actioned 7x57 rifle with full stock and their proprietary quck detach scope mounts.

A davey crockett recoiless nuclear launching rifle made prototypes back in the early 60's worked great but was too expensive and dangerous to have 1 gi lugging around.

The .50 BMG that I watched that marine kill 3 insugents with from a mile away, as they hid beind a brick wall. It was a show on the history channel last night. F'n amazing shot. Projectile went through the concrete block and exploded killing the 3 behind it. And except for the scope, I think in the next couple years I could actually justify spending the money to buy it. ur...don't tell the wife.
