The Firearms Forum. Got banned form this one twice for zealously and truthfully defending the right to keep and bear all legal firearms, even the unpopular ones that some gun owners think should be illegal.

These usually devolve into someone asking why someone else doesn't visit site "A" or why someone does visit site "A".

Please try to keep it on the high road and leave the snark and sniping for somewhere else.

About all I have time for is here and FALfiles with any regularity.

I used to spend time at MosinNagant.net and Surplusrifle.com and M14.com and KTOG and CMP

What alias do you use on the Firearms forum? I would like to go there and read some of your old posts.

I use Ranb or some variation on just about every board I post on. I am direct and tactless when a person tells me that I am breaking the law just by owning or making a title 2 firearm. This is what got me in trouble over there. While a person can say just about whatever they want on the Firearms Forum after they have been there a while, it was made clear to me that new guys had to be polite even when they were defending themselves from personal attacks by long standing members.

Another new poster over there tried to say something in defense of me, but his post was deleted. Check out http://www.thefirearmsforum.com/showthread.php?t=23137&highlight=silencer Notice how the moderator goes from saying these guns are illegal to saying they are not for most shooters? This is what passes for the right to keep and bear arms on that forum. They even have an NFA section! When I was called an idiot for saying I wanted to make a silencer (it is my hobby), and advised to stop, I corrected the individual and told him to stop lying. When I tried to say they were wrong, I was called a troll and banned.

I stayed on the high road over there by insisting that posters be aware of the law before trying to discourage lawful gun ownership. But it appears that the forum is mostly a place for like minded people to pat themselves on the back.

This one, Defensivecarry.com, I sort of read thefiringline.com and occasionally post, and usualsuspect.net, which is more a knife forum.

A couple locals ones, the two versions of this one, silencer talk, and... probably another one or two. But I'm here more than anywhere else.

In addition to THR, I have found the Walther Forums and the P.38 Forum to be two of the most enjoyable gun sites around. I'm also visiting the Northwest Forum quite a bit these days as well. I'm a member of some others but haven't visited them much of late, for whatever reason. It might be that I spend a lot of time prowling the for-sale and auction sites. :)

If you are into Scout Rifles...

I run the www.scoutrifle.org forum. A small group of folks who follow Jeff Coopers Scout Rifle concept and have discussions on firearms and such.

I do monthly raffle of rifle gear, usually slings, ammo cuffs, sometimes a holster.

PM me if you sign up that you found the link here on THR
