OK, I can't find my Brophy 1903 Springfield book, so a pop quiz for the collective: What is the correct metal finish for a Remington 1903A1 (NOT A3)? Black or gray-green Parkerizing?

Just curious...what color is your BOLT? Does it match the rest of the rifle?

mine came with a black receiver/bolt and a green parked bbl.

The green was caused when the rifles were stored for years in cosmoline. Original rifles were black or greyish park
