I also have an M1895 Nagant 1913 w/1916 overstamp IIRC. Only shoots single-action. Have fired original ammo, but also 32 H&R, 32 S&W Short and Long. Cobbled together some loads with 32 SWL brass and 95gr SWCL with 1.5gr 100 Nitro. The bullets were samples from NBC bought back in 07 as I bought the Nagant in 06. Good accuracy with that load. Would like to try the .32 ACP cylinder too.

With NBC gone, I've lost my source for .32 SWCL and .32ACP cast bullets.

I just ordered myself a Nagant 1895. I've looked at them at shows a couple of times and decided to give one a try. For $80 why not? I perpetration for my purchase I bought the Lee die set and 100 Starline 32-20 cases. I have several .32 H&R Mag revolvers, so I have plenty of bullets already.

Last night I loaded up seven rounds, I'm holding off on loading more until the revolver arrives. The Lee die set worked nicely reforming the .32-20 brass. I'm starting out light, a 100 grain RNFP bullet and 2.5 grains of Trail Boss. I went with an OAL of 1.490, slightly shorter than real Nagant ammo. Provided it chambers all should be well.
