One of my 7mm-08s
Well decided to change the look of my Savage 11F stock, wanted to go with a Tan Textured with brown and black flakes
Started as
Used three paints; Tan Primer for Plastic, Texture Tan with the color flakes, and finally matte Clear coat
What items I didn’t take off the stock I wrapped them up in painters tape. I also use the dremel with a 120 grit sanding wheel to widen the barrel channel to assure no touching points on the barrel and get rid of the ridges from the injection molding process
Started with a base of the tan primer that specifically adheres to Plastic
2 coats of primer
2 coats of textured paint
4 coats of clear matte coat
Minimum of 40 mins of dry time between painting

I think you can see the textured flakes in this picture
Ready to remount the scope and take her to the range for some fun.
