i was initially trying to get an idea of the [correlation between a person's size and the type of firearm carried and how it's carried] … then again, what comes into play is clothing attire.

In my experience, the bolded plays the biggest part.

Meanwhile, luck, happiness and safety in the sandbox.

5' 11"
200 lbs
32" waist

In the winter I tend to carry larger pistols. I've carried: XD45 service, Colt Commander, HK USP 45, CZ 75b, even a Ruger Alaskan just for kicks under a hoodie or untucked dress shirt in a open top slide holster. In the summer, I carry a Taurus PT145 or a Kimber Ultra in a Uncle mikes IWB cheapie at high noon (mexican carry) under a T-shirt, or any of their bigger safe-mates in a slide under a short sleeved dress shirt. I am going to buy a Kahr MK40 soon that will probably be my primary summer CC when I'm alone. I tend to carry bigger, higher cap guns when I'm with my family. I just feel better with more firepower when I have them to defend also, and I dress around the gun.
If you're wider in the shoulder and narrower in the waist than normal, it's easier to hide the bigger iron.
A good belt is a must.

5-8
195
38 waist
30 length

I carry a S&W Airweight in a pocket holster or in a butt pack when walking/biking. I use a shoulder holster for larger pistols/revolvers in the winter months with a cover garment. It works great while sitting as well. I haven't found an IWB holster that's comfortable even with larger pants.

195lbs.
5'11''
31''
Glock 29 (10mm) - Deepconceal Ultra Carry Air Marshal or BlackHawk Serpa Paddle Holster
and
Diamondback DB380 (.380ACP) - Wallet Holster

I'm in business attire most of the day and the Air Marshal is strapped on over my under shirt, and hidden under the dress shirt/suit jacket. The wallet holster stays in my jacket pocket, but I might start carrying it in my pocket this summer... haven't been carrying this one long enough to get that figured out yet.
When I'm not in work clothes it just depends what I feel like... I usually carry the wallet holster for running around, but if I'm actually going someplace - not an errand - I will strap on the Glock in whichever holster tickles my fancy for the day. I could be wearing anything from basketball shorts with flip flops to jeans with a nice shell jacket - so as you can see it really depends on how I'm dressed outside of work what I will be carrying and how I'm hiding it.

Edit:
*After seeing this thread is based on IWB carry I don't qualify ever because this the style I can't stand and would rather not carry than do it this way. Maybe I just haven't found a good belt/holster setup, but I just detest this style of carry, sorry guys =(

Well, if you just want IWB specs..

6'1"
270 pounds
wear 40" waist pants.
Sig P239 9mm in a Galco Waistband IWB holster
Sig P6 in a Don Hume IWB
Taurus 605 .357 snub in a Uncle Mikes IWB
Usual dress is jeans, tucked tee shirt, untucked button-up shirt, sometimes a zipper-front hoodie.

However in OWB I can carry all of the above, plus I get into full-sized stuff like Sig P220, Springfield XD9, etc.

5' 7.5"
128 pounds
30" waist (And I want that back down to 28" how it was a couple years ago. Wear 32"x34" jeans; they shrink. Yes, I'm long in the legs.)

Taurus M85UL in a pocket or;
CZ PCR IWB (FIST Close Cropped adjustable) at 3-4 o'clock.

Off work, I'm nearly always in Levi carpenter jeans (I'll buy others when I find a brand that makes or 32"-waist jeans without a seam that causes problems) and a loose T-shirt.

Unfortunately, my favorite T's ( Fruit of the Loom XL pocket T's--they're cheap!) can print if the holster slips a little. Anyone know any other cheap by-the-pack shirts that aren't so close to the body?

You guys make me feel bad!

6' 00", 220lbs, 40in waist
Pocket carry a 642 in a Mika holster or IWB in a UBG holster
Wear Duluth firehose pants 95% of the time. They're thick and have extra deep pockets that conceal well.

6'0"
185lbs if I've been behaving
32"-33" waist which puts me in 34"-36" pants.
Carried both a Colt LTW Commander and a 5" gov't using Liger gun belt(which I really like) and a Crossbreed Supertuck. Am now carrying the Cdr in a Milt Sparks Summer Special 2. Honestly, I almost think the Crossbreed does a better job of concealing my sidearm.
Dress is usually jeans and a t-shirt type thing.

5.9 , 225 38 waist

I pocket carry an Old Charter Arms Undercover.
I carry it OWB in the winter in a pancake.
I carry a Sigma OWB in a Fobus
I also have 2 Tragura Slide holsters for each pistol.

5'6"
155lbs
30" waist

-Carry a Kahr CW9 IWB at 3 o' clock
-Holster is a cheap($10) bulldog holster
-During the summer, its loose t shirt and shorts(pictured)
-Winter is usually denim jeans, tshirt and sweatshirt or snow boarding jacket in which i tuck my tshirt betweeen my hip and the gun. During the summer, the back of the slide will dig into my hip. And yes, im going to get a better holster.

6' 2"
230 lbs
38" waist
Springfield XD 40 SC & XD 45 Compact (Soon!)

Pretty much wherever I want... IWB, OWB, Jacket Pocket, etc... depending upon dress and season.

6'5" 215, 38" waist.

Usually in Steel-toed boots that add another 1.5", a "real" Hawaiian Shirt (made in Hawaii) jeans with a very thick belt. A 43" reinforced cane in my main hand, making right side carry difficult (it gets hit with the stick repeatedly)

Either a heavy leather jacket from my All-weather riding days, or a 'great" soft polar zip-up with Disney's Big Bad Wolf embroidered on the back, and "ruthless" on the left breast.

Yes, my wife shops for me, No, I don't mind looking like an exploded florist at Disneyland, people seem to avoid me more in my Hawaiian shirts than my full body leathers.

Shoulder rig for heavy guns. Inside the pants for the M&P .40

5'11" @191 lbs.
32" waist, 48" chest.
Sig P245 in a Milt Sparks VM-2.

Dang almost ashamed to put my size down but here goes 375lbs give or take 5lbs,. six foot 2 inchs tall, 60in chest, 52in waist, I carry a Glock21sf at 3 o,clock in a don hume IWB holster, a s&w 442 in my right pocket in a desantis holster, & sometimes a NAA 22 magnum around my neck ,.

As of 6 months ago i was 6' 4" 370lbs, 44in waist. as of this morning i am 279lbs, 38in waist carrying Glock 27 IWB in Galco Summer Comfort.

6'4", #250, 38"waist

I carry a variety of weapons in a number of ways, most often a Keltec PF9 in either front or back right pocket, Keltec P32 BUG in opposite left. Occasionally anything from a Glock to 1911's to S&W 696 or similar in an OWB on the right hip or front left crossdraw.

Never got comfy with IWB...too many years in uniform.

5' 10", 160 LBS, 32" waist, Glock 19, I've got 3 holsters that I rotate:
1. Tucker Silent Thunder--appendix IWB
2. CompTac MTAC IWB & tuckable
3. Crossbreed Supertuck IWB tuckable.

Almost forgot to mention that i wear a "Beltman" bullhide, double layered belt and it makes a big difference.
