I had the opportunity to shoot a Barrett last Sunday at 300yds, (sorry we don't have a 3 mile range). The boss took it out to see how it did in really strong crosswinds gusting to 40~45mph. It didn't even phase it. Shooting it is no worse than a 12ga for the shooter, however the spotter behind tends to catch all sort of hell. It creates a very big dust storm traveling very fast smacking you in the face.
