Good gun handling on tv or in films is something that should generally be appreciated. Unrealistic gun handling is something that is to be expected, but if it's not an integral part of the story, it can be taken with a grain of salt.
However, THR is all about discussions of marksmanship in the real world. As a US subculture, shooters would be truly better off if they'd forgo watching some television and block that time out to reload ammunition, go to the shooting range, introduce newbies to shooting, attend a match, or even just implement a reasonable dry-firing regimen.
