Man, I am glad I am self employed

I carry all day while I am at work. Even when I go out to meet with clients. If I am doing an install, I am a custom cabinet maker, I might not be wearing my 1911 but my LCP is probably in my left front pocket. I recently purchased an ankle holster for my S&W 637 so that gives me yet another option. I have got to remember not to wear the ankle holster with shorts though.

I carry most of the time.

Recently, I've been working with machinery such as chainsaws and other types of devices where I feel better leaving my pistol in the truck though. I feel like I'm "too aware" of my surroundings when I carry to safely operate such equipment.

I carry all the time, have for many years. I admit that since I retired, there are many times when I carry only one gun, as I too live in a "good" neighborhood, and I am a pretty quiet guy most of the time.
I did interrupt a car burglary this winter in a mall parking lot, and retrieved the property from the goof before calling the police. He was arrested. But, there was no need to draw/use my weapon, which is pretty normal, I would say. (I don't usually like to get involved, but this was right in front of me, and the guy was taking a purse from an unlocked car. I had seen the owner park and go in the mall, so I knew that this a.. h... wasn't a father, boyfriend, husband, etc. Just a thief.)
Anyway, the point is I live in a quiet place, but I sometimes go somewhere, and folks from somewhere sometimes come here. Follow?

I live in a good neighborhood, and am rarely out late at night, so I realistically carry less than 25% of the time, usually only if I plan to be out late or travel in neighborhoods I don't know well.

Keep in mind you never know when trouble will come to your neighborhood, even if it is a good one. I live in what I consider a safe neighborhood too, but a few months ago we had a pursuit of an out-of-state guy wanted on felony charges end just a few streets over. Apparently he was going 90 some in a 25 and couldn't slow enough for the next (90 degree) turn. Happened in the afternoon on a weekday. Never know what's going to come your way! Not trying to tell you what to do, just something to consider. If you're comfortable with your CC habits then no problem here.

If I'm awake!Only disarmed when law say's no guns allowed

The only time I don't carry is when I'm in the "safety" of a "gun-free" zone. Otherwise I'm even armed when sleeping.

I voted 25% or less because most of my trips out of the house are to work. I work at a facility where personal firearms are prohibited, so I make do with one in the glove box. If I do happen to go somewhere on my way home from work the one in the glove box goes in my pocket (it's a P-64 in a pocket holster) but that just doesn't happen very often. On weekends I'm always armed if I leave the house.

I keep a Makarov hidden between my chair and the front door so I can slip it out while going to answer the door, there's an FNP-9M beside the bed on my side and a .38 special snubby beside the bed on my wife's side, and a Remington 870 Police Magnum with buckshot in the bedroom closet so I don't feel the need to keep a pistol in my shorts when I'm lounging around the house.

Every time I'm not at work. Unfortunately the company I work for has an anti-gun policy... If it weren't for that, I'd be carrying 100% of the time.

I carry 24/7, wherever and whenever it's legal to do so.

To go through the hassle and expense of getting a permit only to leave the gun at home because it's not late at night or because one is in a "nice" neighborhood is, IMO, wishful thinking. How can anyone predict where an incident won't occur? Criminals and whack-jobs don't politely absent themselves from "good neighborhoods." They'll pull off the main drag at noon in "nice" neighborhoods to get some gas or to go to Home Depot just like anyone else. A CCW-ing ex of mine recently got accosted twice by a guy in a car at 11 AM while walking down the street in one of those nice neighborhoods. Note: She did have her little .32 on her, though. :D She thanked me for pestering her into getting her permit.

I carry because I don't want my last thoughts to be "I should've brought my gun; what a schmuck move...."

Clip on the P-11 when I get dressed and only take it off for places the law says I can't carry it. Even though I live in a "nice" area in the country I know it can get ugly in a heartbeat. Probably every victim of a violent crime felt it couldn't happen to them.

With so many easy carry options, its getting harder and harder to make an excuse to NOT carry.

I would rather have a gun and not need one than the reverse being the case.

Pretty much whenever I can legally, including at home. Granted, I can't at work, but otherwise yes. I am in an urban environment and have developed a CCW set-up which is a compromise between concealability and firepower (i.e. a small 9mm with premium short-barrel ammo, plus extra magazines for reloads) so I can conceal carry without drawing any attention.

Personally, I am in the "better to have it and not need it" camp. To me, it has somewhat become the same as dropping a pocket knife into your pocket. In today's world you never know when something bad will happen.

I was in a bar the other night when the on duty LEO walked in. Glad I wasn't carrying!
Whenever legal unless my destination doesn't allow. I'll leave it in my vehicle or leave it at home and make sure I have my knife at least.

I am about to start medical school, and no carry is allowed on the premises, so I will be limited to carrying in the areas/times when I am not on campus or at the hospital.

Other than that, unless there is a sign forbidding it and/or metal detectors, I carry.

About the ONLY time I dont carry even when I could is when I am jogging mid-day. I simply cannot dress around my USP Compact in that weather. I carry a folding knife, but am considering an LCP to solve my 'deep concealment' isses

I voted 75% of the time or more... I would like to stipulate however that this means whenever I am not on campus as college students are not allowed all of our rights apparently.

I carry every day except at work where I'm not allowed to. If I'm off I'm packin. Even at work I at least have a gun in my truck.
