Picked up a 220 police trade in gun a few days ago and it needs refinishing. I'm going to do it myself, but cant decide on a color. I have leftover Black, OD, and Desert Tan from previous projects. Right now I'm leaning to desert tan, but I'm having trouble picturing it. Anyone ever seen a sig in tan? Pix?
Thanks
Jason

Duracoat makes barney purple... not saying you should but I guess you could. I have a P6 that I'm thinking about doing in OD green (frame) and flat black.

I bought a trade-in P220 and the outside is "well worn," to be charitable. Internally it's top notch and proves it on paper. I was gonna refinish it, but a well-worn tool does make a certain statement.

Are you doing the frame, the slide, or both? I would do the slide black and the frame tan. Just my opinion

Go green. It's very popular these days (pun intended), and would be more unique than tan or black, as factory guns ome in those colors.

Think I'm going with tan frame and black slide.
Was going to OD and black but I already have a few guns in that combination.
Thanks,
I will be sure to post some pix when its done.

it would look nice if it had a coating from IonBond.. Springer Precision does IonBond coatings.. i'm not sure if anyone else offers that kind of DLC PVD coating..

thanks...
I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out
I know one thing, detail striping a sig makes me REALLY love my Glocks;)
