XTARHEEL-I love my 85 Combat. Of course I'm a lefty. Had to change out the plastic grips and phillips grip screws though.

I agree. I like mine as much as my Kimber Raptor. It is extremely accurate and reliable. It also CCW's reasonable well.

I knew I couldnt be the only one that thinks CZ's are shoddy.

Shoddy: "badly made or done"...... LOL ..... Yea right.

Real gun people know CZ is a quality manufacture. So big deal, you got one bad apple from CZ. It happens to every manufacture. Hell, a friend of mine, just last year, had to send a brand new 1911 Government Model back to Colt because it was malfunctioning. Since Colt repaired & returned it to him, it has functioned flawlessly now for approx. 1500 rounds.

Did you send yours back to CZ to allow them a chance to make it right?....I'd bet not.....More likely you're the type who sells his malfunctioning firearms to unsuspecting souls and then just blast CZ publicly, every chance you get.

A stand up guy, no doubt!

"Real Gun People" ???? What a Laugh !!!!

Yep, I traded it in so some CZ fanatic would get stuck with it. :neener:

right. that's why they were the most popular pistols in the world up until recently-glock now holds that title, and are still the second most used police/military pistols in the world.

not to mention they are still the second most copied guns in the world, next to 1911's.

All the arguments aside, the single most famous classic gun from CZ is the 75 or 75B.

And Haifisch, when you get sick after eating a burger that wasn't fully cooked, do you never eat a burger again? I don't. I love burgers.

just a thought.
