It has a Eagle 2206 Zepher 2200 sighting system (aperature sight) does anyone out there know how to adjust this sight as far as elevation goes?
I can see that there are 2 knobs one on each side of sight that is for windage but don't see anything for elevation.

im not sure about the sights, but ruger doesnt make a 10/22 ranch rifle. at least ive never heard of one.

Yes they do it is in stainless and has provisions for a scope. It's not the blue finish standard model.

No...they do not. The Ranch Rifle and the 10/22 are separate products.

Didn't we go through this the other day, in your other thread?

This is not the blue finish version 10/22 it is the Stainless steel version with provisions for a scope.

Wow this is hilarious. People tell him something, he tells them they are wrong.

Ok.

Lets use the Ruger Website shall we?

this is a Ranch Rifle. It is a Mini-14. Its what everyone will think of when you say "Ranch Rifle"

This is a 10/22.

Now since you mention the Eagle Zephyr I assume you are talking about a 10/22.

As far as the elevation goes, I have no idea. I have never seen one. But from the pictures it looks like the peep moves up and down on the rear sight. Probably a screw, probably not repeatable, probably junk.

They all come with a scope mount base. There is no such thing as a 10/22 "ranch rifle" and never was.

Stinger, are you in the US?

In the US, there is not, and I don't think ever has been, a 10/22 "ranch rifle." The Ruger "ranch rifle" has always been a variant of the Mini-14 centerfire rifle.

What Ruger might have marketed in other countries, I don't know.

Does your 10/22 ranch rifle have slots milled into the top of the receiver for scope mounts like this? :

Or does it take a rail that screws onto the top of the receiver cover like this? :

There are a LOT of non-Ruger guns out there with 10/22 derived actions, I might believe that one of them had the scope-mount hump things, hell I have a 10/22 that gets mistaken for an M1 carbine at the range all the time, who knows what stinger 327's looks like.

So, you need to post a picture, get yourself an account at http://picasaweb.google.com/ and stick up some pictures of the sights and the rifle as a whole, including a few of the top of the receiver ... I'm almost wondering if you got sold something weird with an aftermarket receiver or if someone who didn't know what the hell they were looking at labeled your rifle wrong in the first place and you're just carrying their error forward ... pictures will tell all, even blurry ones from a crappy camera.

You are correct as I have both 10/22 and Mini-14 and get the two mixed up in thought alot since there are so many accessories for these two Rugers. Both in Stainless with provision for a scope.
