My only experience with the TAURUS was with a friend's PT140 (.40cal) who was gracious enough to let me shoot the pistol. Sadly, that gun's frame expanded and develop a slight crack in the rail during in one of the shooting sessions. Since then, have been cautious with TAURUS polymers and the .40cal in general. Seems like KBs have been common for the .40 cal affecting the glocks as well. But have heard good reviews on their PT92.

Lately, ive been doing a research on the 809 hoping to give the TAURUS and the polymers a chance, and hope will be making a decision the soonest.
