EDC tactical folders?

Use it everyday.

Had to paint about half of the fabric side of the G10 grip
with black fingernail polish to prevent it from eating my pants.

Other than that, fine knife.

My all time favorite knife is the Spyderco Endura. It's not tactical in the truest sense of the word, but it's tactical enough for me.

Strider SnG is what I carry. Hopefully I'd have my Kimber for defense.

I carry a CRK Regular Sebenza. Not tactical in the tactical sense, but good enough for me. I used to carry an Emerson Commander w/ Tom Krein regrind on it. This knife cut like a laser beam.

I carry my tactical mind sense everywhere though.

I carry a CRKT full size Tanto folder, but What I learned after I bought it, is that the blade is not ground evenly, it's one-sided. It's great other than that, but I think I'll be getting a full-size Spyderco with 1/2 serrations.

Look at it this way. You want to have your gun, but you will need a knife many more times in life than you will need a gun. You can take a knife many places you can't take a gun. If we carry guns because bad things happen in life, your gun could be non-functioning or be lost, and you would need a backup. There is a lot to carrying a knife defensively, and one example that comes to mind is keeping it in case you are fighting to RETAIN your pistol and need to use it.

For many many years , I carried a BM 259 balisong ---- for the last 3-6 months , I now carry a Mtech " Twist " balisong. It is THE BEST bali you can get at under $30 --- if it gets lost, stolen , confiscated , or ditched -- no big deal ---- I bought 4 of them total

I carry a Buck Rush in 154cm. In Two week I'll be carrying Jim Adams Custom Ultra Lite in ATS 34. Unlike HSO I can't afford a CRK Sebenza. LOL

keep in mind, i always carry at least two of these with me. sometimes, i'll include a small fixed blade, like a CRKT Ryan Plan B, or a utility edged HAK.

Spyderco Native. I carried one of the 1st gen ones for a good 10 years and recently got a new one in S30V. I looked around a lot for something different but it's just a good design for a small knife.

Don't know how "tactical" it is, but my EDC folder is a Benchmade 2550 "Mini-Reflex"...

The recent (favorable) change regarding legal carry of automatic knives here in Georgia has put my previous EDC knives the "SpeedSafe" assisted opening Kershaws (Leek/Shallot/Tyrade) away, not because they aren't excellent, but since automatics are now legal, I wanted to carry one.

The Mini-Reflex was recommended to me by a friend, and I am more than pleased with it..

I'm a "lefty" and the Mini-Reflex is very "lefty friendly"..

When I leave the State of Georgia for whatever reason, I put the Mini-Reflex away, and take one of the Kershaws instead..

I carry a Spyderco Delica 4 with the Emerson opener. It may not be the prettiest thing in the world, but it's sharp, durable and doubles as a bottle opener.

If you're not familiar with it, the hook on top of the blade catches on your pocket as you pull it out and opens the blade. It is so simple and intuitive that it's genius.

I edc a Spyderco Tenacious everyday with a zip-tie wave. Definitely a good work knife.

gotta love that zip-tie trick. i did it to most of my thumb-hole knives.

Benchmade 710 here...not sure if that counts at 'tactical' but it does all I ask of it.

Gerber Gator, Buck 110 or my Puma Raven; I also carry a barlow or stockman in my pocket.

i generally carry a fixed blade, but like having a folder as a second knife. the one that has seen the most pocket time has been the Benchmade 710 that i got back in '99 (i think it was). i've also carried my Bradley Kimura alot, but the lack of a pocket clip makes it less convenient. hopefully, i'll have a BM51 soon. then that one'll be my primary folder.

Emerson (production) cqc-7 or cqc-8. Sometimes a delica as a second.

Any knife I carry (including a small SOG keychain knife) has to be VERY sharp. I consider that tactical enough. The speed at which it gets opened may be another matter but for me it's not a big enough issue to worry about. Currently it's a Grip 551 but a Buck 110 or even a 3 blade Uncle Henry can be tactical; at least to a point.
