What dies should I get to reload .380 in an LNL? I use Hornady die sets for .45, .38/.357, 9mm, .223 but was wondering if there is a particular die set that is more suitable for the .380?

Also, can folks recommend a bullet to use? I'm on the road right now and won't be near my reloading books for awhile but I'd like to get some bullets ordered. I have tried 4 or 5 commercial loads through my LCP and have become quite fond of the S&B 92g FMJ. Lead round nose is probably fine if available and appropriate through an LCP.

I have brass and am really hoping I can use one of my existing powders in stock, but if not I'd like to get the powder ordered as well.

I currently have on hand:
win 231
win 296
accurate #2
Tac
and a very small amount of Unique

Thanks

AA #2 or W-231 will both work very well. Unique may work OK. W-296 is way too slow and unsuitable. Tac is a rifle powder and totally unsuitable.

I like Redding and RCBS dies the best as far as complete sets go, but any of them will work fine.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll try the RCBS dies to change it up a little from the Hornady's.

I do use my RCBs dies in the Hornady LNL but the Hornady die sets I have work better in that they have a longer body and better bevel at the case mouth so they extend fare enough that they're not on their last thread in the shell holder and cases feed better into the die. Unless theirs a big price differential I'd suggest sticking with the Hornady dies.
