Rarest gun you own?

I don't know how rare it is, but my Taurus 455(.45 ACP revolver) is the only gun I own that I could sell used for more than I paid for it new.

H&R "Bobby" Model, made for and used by London Metro. Police during WW2 - don't know how this one got back to US.

CoastieShep, Your musket/shotgun conversion is commonly known as a 'Zulu'. They were originally a French muzzleloading rifle musket that were later converted to a breechloader called a Tabatierre, similar to the English Snider of the same era. When the Tabatierres were made obsolete many of them were converted to shotguns as a cheap utility gun, & this is when the 'Zulu' label was attached to them.

I guess the 'rarest' gun I own is my German Doublerifle. Made c.1895, it is chambered for the 12.3x62mmR cartridge which is a little bigger than the .45/90WCF. The rifle weighs 6.25lbs, so you know when you've fired it!

...Or this Original 1885 Winchester, rare because it retains 99% of its finish on wood and metal.

Ive got a couple odd guns and one that may be considered rare. I've got a Husquvarna (they make chain saws now) made Nagant chambered in 7.5 Swiss. An Erma .22LR carbine, if you haven't seen one they are dead ringers for an M1 carbine.

The only one that I would consider to be rare would be my ATC M4 "pocket rifle". Every time I take that one out I get asked if I have a stamp for it. It's a factory made, sawed down mossberg .22 rifle. Mine is #77 of only around 450 made. I've got 3 factory magazines, the factory shell deflecor and owners manual. I had the original box but the wife's cat destroyed it.

Almost forgot... I once owned a Stinger Pengun. Sadly it "dissapeared" one day. After that I started keeping a record of all my firearms, serial numbers and pictures.

Hello friends and neighbors // Might as well jump in and get some of mine out of the water.

These were rare finds for me, not so rare as far as the world goes.

Remington Model 12, .22, 1913,breakdown pump action tube fed

H&R Model 299 "NEW DEFENDER" .22, 1937 // By the discoloration on the ejector this revolver was fired twice// top break nine shot

Dan Wesson Pistol Pack with a 15" barrel, .357 ,1978
DWpp 032.jpg I consider the 15" barrel a Unicorn, CZ does not have any and as of my last check they do not intend to produce anymore.

What's really amazing is that even after both bans ... none of them were in the top 10 (most common) of the FBI's top crime guns ...
Someone needs to go watch the movie Point Break again lol.

Gaffer. What is that? Perhaps a plasma rifle in a 40Watt range?

well i have a western auto revelation model 116 (otherwise known as a marlin 57M) made in the 60 prior to the requirement for serial numbers. they only made and sold about 1300 of them, she shoots good and accruate. She's the one on the left side.

and to accompany her i have a current kinda rare gun... A PMR-30! i acutally havent even shot her. i also have a ruger single six for the traditional side of things.

They imported about 100 of he semi FAMAS rifles prior to the ban. I believe it is second to the SA80 semi (only 3 of them) as far as being a rare semi import.

Nothing really rare in my collection, but I do so love my 1903. No pics on this computer tho.

Stalins personal Mosin Nagant, no one lies at gun shows right?

I use to hangout with a guy who got interested in firearms. He was going to buy a gun off of a friend so I asked him a little about it. Turns out it was a 91/30, his "friend" wanted somewhere around $800 for it. I told him he could go get one for $70 but he wouldn't have any of it. Don't know if he ever bought it because he got involved in some "things" and I stopped talking to him.l

My Norwegian Kongsberg ‘11.25 m/m AUT. PISTOL M/1914’ with matching serial numbers

A taurus revolver in .17 hmr (hard 2 find).

A glock that doesn't explode :D (sorry, couldn't resist)

EDIT: Hey CaliCoastie, what's with the white powder/granules under the $5 bill?

I'm well impressed by the variety of odd/rare weapons.

Meanwhile, my only entry in the competition would be my Irwin-Pedersen M1 Carbine. Rarer than rocking-horse poo...:)

the five dollar bill was for reference on the size for some other pictures. the stuff you see is crap i got on my fenders on the jeep after doing some hunting, just crap i drove through. hmm didnt think about that at the time
