What guns have you traded/sold off for other guns?

Traded too many. Some are now worth over $1000 and I paid $145.00 for it. The only guns I don't regret trading are my 2 Glocks. As you can surmise....I'm old.

Just what I can remember off the top of my head:

Glock 26
Glock 20
Kahr P32
Kahr PM9
Springfield 1911
Ruger MkII
S&W 617
S&W 625
S&W 686
A couple AR15s
Marlin 7000
Khyber Pass AK
AR10
Springfield M1A
A couple SKSes
DSA FAL
FN FNC w/sear
HK94 SBR w/sear
Micro Uzi
AR15 RDIAS
MAC pen gun
LMT 40mm grenade launcher

Some of those I might buy again if the situation presented itself, but I don't regret selling any of them because I prefer the guns that I purchased with the proceeds.

Swapped a Glock 23C for a new Bushmaster 14.5 AR ..... even swap.

Getting ready ( I think) to swap a Walther P22 for an AK dunno yet will have to wait and see.

Wow, SKY sounds like you end up on top! Good trades, if you don't want to trade your P22 I got one I wouldn't mind trading for an AK.

I'll probably forget some.

Colt Trooper III ( want it back )
S&W 686 ( want it back )
S&W 29 Nickel ( want it back )
S&W 29 Blue ( want it back )
Colt 1911 SS Officer's Model
Walther PPK/S
Beretta Bobcat
Glock 17 ( I'll get another )
Mossberg 500 20GA
Mossberg 500 12GA ( replaced with a 590 )
Winchester 1300 12 GA
Taurus PT99
Taurus 94UL
Taurus 605CHSSC ( got it back )
Springfield 1911 GI

There has to have been more. But that's all I can recall off the cuff.

I traded a WASR with 3 magazines + $200 for a Colt Series 70 1911 in stainless, best gun decision I've ever made.

Alternatively I stupidly traded a Colt Commander (unfired still in box) for an auto ordnance thompson carbine which i later sold to buy a big TV (I know I'm a knuckle head)

I traded a Beretta 9mm 92 Centurion + 100 dollars for a Bushmaster M4a3 that trade still makes me smile.

I sold a Mossberg 590 with a knoxx stock for a loss of $200, but I don't regret that at all, gun was just way to big for me.

Traded a 10/22 stainless for a blued 870 Wingmaster made in the 50's. that was an especially good trade, because I was given that 10/22.

Oh and I traded a full tank of gas for a Mosin-Nagant M44

All and all I did well, but I wish I still had that colt commander.

Sold an old Sears shotgun and a Colt Gov .380 for money to buy among other things a 1960 police Wingmaster with top folding stock. Never regretted it.

Sold a 22 Hornet NEF Handi-rifle for a Marlin 22 magnum.

Sold a Remington 700 22-250 and a Remington 597 22 LR. for a Remington 700 270.

Sold a Howa 22-250 for a Winchester 70 243.

Also sold a Rossi pump 22 magnum, but I can't remember what for. Wish I still had it.

Only sold one, never traded any

When I was 18 I sold the first gun my folks bought me, a Savage Model 24 combination over/under 22LR/20 gauge. I have regretted it ever since and have never sold another firearm:banghead:. I have, though "given" them away...to my kids. Like grandchildren, I can still visit them and hold them when I need to:D.

Traded a 4" XD40 service to get an XD45 when they first came out. Sold the XD45 to get an XD40sc. Sold a Springfield Ultracompact V10 .45 when I wanted a Blackhawk .357 convertible.

Going to do my first trade tomorrow
A Keltec P11 for a chinese type 59

I hope the guy's wife enjoys the KT, cause I'm going to enjoy my new mak

I had a S&W model 36 that I liked a lot. Sold it recently, and used the proceeds to go towards my first 1911 (RIA tactical 5") :)

previously, sold a full size M&P9 for a Glock 26 (wanted something smaller for carry).

One of my better decisions was to trade a Redhawk for a really nice S&W .38-44 Heavy Duty, which I subsequently traded for a 629 Mountain Gun that had been tuned by Bob Munden. I also bought a Ruger MKII Competition model with a scope for $200 and traded it for $350 in store credit to buy reloading supplies. Bought a Remington 700ADL from Walmart, on sale for $243, used it for a few years and subsequently traded it for a like-new Glock 19.

I've sold and traded quite a few but only regret a couple. The one I miss is a S&W 648 that I had had drilled and tapped for a scope mount. It shot into 2"@50yds and for some stupid reason I traded it for a Remington 870 that has since been given away. I kind of miss the early Ruger MKI but I got a really nice 2" nickeled S&W 15 out of that deal so I'll get over it.

Traded an L1A1 for a Colt M4
Traded a Ruger MKI for a Beretta Neos
Traded a Charter Arms AR-7 for a Mossberg 500 Persuader 8-shot
Sold Browning Citori Lightning (family vacation funds)

Not a gun, but I traded a German Waffen SS dress dagger (Thing gave me the freak'n creeps) for a Gen4 Glock 17, and a Gen3 Glock 22.

Let's see,
a Star .380 to partially finance a S&W 66
a chinese .22 rifle & H&R pardner single shot 12ga for $ for a S&W model 48 from a neighbor.
I'll be selling a crikket .22 for part of a full size .22 (to be named later) for my oldest by Christmas.

If they sit in the safe too long they find new homes.

Too many to remember them all. Some recent "trades" ...

Kel-Tec P32 to fund a Ruger LCP
4" Redhawk to fund a 3" S&W 629-1
SA 1911A1 to fund a Glock 23 (which was a reversal ... had sold a G23 for the 1911)
Marlin 336 Texan to fund a walnut-stocked Ruger 77/44

No regrets on any of these ... although there are a few I do regret letting go for whatever the reason. None of them were exotic, though, so I could replace them if I really wanted to spend the $$.

I sold an M&P9 to get a Glock 26
Sold a CZ82 to get a S&W Mdl 36
Sold a Model 65 .357 because cash flow was low
Sold the Model 36 to get a 1911

Now I want a full size 9mm and either a cz82 or a makarov, and I wouldn't mind having a pocket revolver.... it's crazy! should've just kept them all :) (if funds would allow, of course)

Sold my S&W 637 to buy a Savage-Steven's 200.

It was a good gun, but didn't do anything for me. Didn't conceal as light or as easy as my LCP, and I wasn't loading for it. Also, it was the only gun I could stomach parting with, as my other more guns which I simply can't imagine selling covered its niche.

Sold a Taurus PT145 to make a down payment on the Kimber Custom II that is still my EDC.

Sold a .357 Ruger SP-101 (2.25" barrel) to pay for an LCR in .38 +P for easier pocket carry.

Sold a Mosin 91/30 that was tearing up my shoulder to buy a Marlin XS7 in .308 Win.

I'm happy with all 3 transactions and their results.

im considering trading my AR15 for a trijicon acog for my new M1A and then building a pre-ban SBR AR someday... other then that i have never sold or traded a gun, once i get em, they instantly become sentimental haha

Traded a Savage 17 HMR towards a CZ 452 Lux 22lr. Exceedingly happy with that move.

Sold a Springfield 1911 that I liked to fund my first AR-15. Good move.

Sold a CZ 75B that pointed like a dream and never malfunctioned to fund my newest AR. Because I have gone to Glock for USPSA and 3-gun, and the CZ sat in the safe... that was also a good move.

Only thing on my mind right now is maybe tradiing my Sig 225 with night sights for a Glock 19 with night sights. The practical side of me says Glock but the Sig has NEVER malfunctioned and it is just classy.....
