The lease I have paid is $10, that was great. His business was his home though. Now, it's usually $20. One place wanted to charge $25 plus 10% of whatever I was paying for the gun as a processing fee.
Not as convienient but you can get a free trip to Florida out of it. Spirit Airlines has flights from Atlantic City to Orlando for $9 each way. Bass Pro Shop is about 5 miles from the airport. People from New Jersey ARE allowed by law to purchase fiirearms in Florida, and the airline will allow you to transport a firearm with you.If I buy a gun online it costs me $96 to complete the transfer through the FFL gunstore near the route that I take back from work.
This is very high, but I have no other convenient choice that I am aware of.
Have you tried pawnshops? They're in the business to make money not to tell people no.
It's not the dealers choice.SharpsDressedMan Can somebody explain to me why an FFL dealer in NJ can't choose to call the federal NICS number?
It would seem that if one state could be free to do it, so could any of the others.......

They don't want to do it, so they jack the price up insanely high to either make you go somewhere else or erase any price savings you got online, thereby making their own inventory more appealing. Personally, I find that type of attitude disgusting, and it merely ensures I will NEVER buy anything from them.
...lied to me about the wholesale price (they don't have to tell me what they pay as a dealer wholesale, but if they ARE going to volunteer the info, at least don't lie to me and insult me)...

"wholesale price" varies based on the distributor and the volume of business an ffl does with that distributor. I've seen "buy it now" prices for nib guns on gb that are less than i'd get charged by a distributor since i'm a low-volume dealer.
