I've had that AK guitar picture pointed out to me by a few people, seeing as I both like AKs and play guitar. Unfortunately it's pretty clearly a fake. No bridge, no pickups, etc.. does not a guitar make.

Wow, that's cool! You could really jam out the "7.62 blues" with that one.

You can partialy see an acoustic bridge underneath his extended fingers, which I would assume is connected to a piezo pickup.

I'm no photography expert so go easy on me!

(I've still got the original box and parts taken off for the conversion)

These all started life as AMD-65's ... and yes, I STILL need to finish the receiver!

I already think I want a Warsaw stock though.

Here my most recent build. I hired out the barrel shortening, but did the rest myself. The stock is a Chinese Type 56 folder, which I really like. Now I just need to find a Larue Irondot for it. Why oh why did they have to discontinue those before I grabbed one?

For those of you that have the TAPCO stocks, how do you like them? I've haven't heard good things about tapco so i welcome any feedback?

I don't like the Tapco AK M4-style stock, but I do like the Tapco AR M4-style stock and it works nicely with the ~$12 UTG AK-AR stock adapter.

The Tapco Galil style handguard is nice if you like the fat grip. The Galil style one they make for the Saiga sometimes has trouble staying on depending on your barrel dimensions. I do like the Tapco "interfuse" Saiga handguard, I leave off the side rails and only install the bottom one for a bipod or Magpul AFG.
