Upper, BUIS and Red Dot in the Stocking!

Santa got me a Bravo Company Mid-Length AR upper incl. 16" medium-contour 1:8 410 stainless steel barrel. Had to add a GG&G extremely low profile Multiple Aperature Device (MAD) Ranging-Aperature Back Up Iron Sight (BUIS) as well as a Vortex SPARC red-dot optic and Magpul grip. It needed a Marine Corp. Fighting Bayonet as well. More'n a coupla grand right there...

Santa brought me a YHM Diamond series Specter length rail, along with front BUIS and gas block. Picture is the final product installed on my S&W MP-15OR. Gotta test fire it tomorrow to make sure the gas block is working correctly and Locite everything down.

The BUIS co-witness my Bushnell Trophy 1x32 btw. ;)

I bought two boxes of CCI 22 WMR. I never get enough practice with that gun, anyway, and 100 rounds is a nice little range outing. :)

Legionnaire,

Let me get some pics of that # 33. I've got some rottenstone coming this next week and want to smooth the stockout a little more, but will abide by your wishes! I found a guy on another thread on here that told me about the rottenstone and BLO, so I want to give this stock some preservative and then will take some pics. Stand by please........... Its a lot better shape than when I dragged it home!:banghead:

Good luck with the project PAShooter. I'm in a similar place. Finished the workbenches and cabinets in my shop last year. That was my first "real" project. Now I'm gearing up to renovate the master closet. Merry Christmas!

788Ham, sounds good!

Got a cash gift today, so it's not really a gift from me to me, but I get to pick it out ... and I'm opting for a new barrel for my T/C Encore.

I bought myself a CZ 550 Varmint Laminated Stock in .22-250 back in September, then back in November I picked up a Bushnell Elite 4200 Tactical 6-24x50mm to go on it, and some Warne Gloss High rings for CZ 550 to mount it.

I also used a nice 40% off coupon from Gander Mountain to buy a pair of Irish Setter Shadow Trek boots with 800 Gram Thinsulate Ultra Insulation. I have worn then about 5 times now hunting and they are spectacular. One day I even spend about 2 hours walking through an overgrown field full of briers and crab walking under cedars and pines trying to scare up some bedded down deer. My feet never complained once.
