well in a few years I will have 3 more.
pass it on. one of the few ways to keep America free, pass the tradition of freedom to the next generation.

I'm 28 now, but I was the same way.

Dad was an FFL and big shooter, reloader, etc. And we had LEO in the family and all that. I can't remember the first time I actually shot a gun, but I was small. When I was a kid dad would go skeet shooting or something almost every weekend, and it was up to me whether I wanted to go along or not. I always liked it, my younger brother never really cared either way.

Dad wouldn't allow me to keep any firearms of my "own" until I graduated college. In hindsight, probably a wise move on his part, not letting a college kid keep a bunch of guns at school. Once I graduated, "my" collection got to stay with me.

My father was unrelenting on the rules of gun safety, which couldn't help but rub off on me. Firearms are something to be respected, but never feared. After all, its still a mechanical device, not a magical one. When some people think "gun", they think of violence, crime, or war. To me, guns are no more taboo than cars or football.

21 here.
I too have had gunsafety beat into my skull at a very young age (always told no matter what it was, cap gun, bb gun, etc. not to point it at anyone or anything you don't intend to destroy, booger hooker off the bang switch until you're ready to kill).
I don't carry yet, working on getting a decent CC pistol.
I own:
1. Mossberg 500A 12 Gauge
2. Henry Repeating Arms Mini Bolt .22LR
3. Sauer & Sohn Chief Marshal .357 Magnum
and some old rusted shotgun that my dad gave to me to either clean up and repair or turn into a mantlepiece. No idea what it is.

Hows 15? I been shooting since i was about 10 or 11, I currently only have a Marlin 925 a Smith and Wesson model 38 38spcl snub nose (i shoot well with it but can only have it when i go up the mountains hunting for a woods gun) That revolver is from the 70s and was my grandpas and it just about mine now. And my dad has a Glock 26 and an old Ithaca NID.

I am currently trying to get a Mossberg 500 combo in 12 ga for birds, rabbits, and the slug barrel for deer.

29 here. No family tradition of shooting, grew up in a country where guns were banned, so naturally my interest was piqued.

Became a US citizen, started shooting soon afterward.

1) Ruger 10/22
2) Remington 870 12 gauge tactical

Hey Justin holder, You list your guns, your name AND the town you live in with that list??? I sure hope you have a strong safe and a big dog.

I'm 19 years old. I've always found guns interesting, but I never really had the urge to buy one. My grandpa gave me his old .410 shotgun when I was about 16 or 17, but I never showed any interest in owning guns til around September of this past year when I bought a WASR 10 at a gun show. Looking back on it now, it was a little overpriced, but I'm not complaining; it runs like a champ.

I own:
-WASR 10
-Stevens 38B (my grandpa's .410)
-Franchi SPAS-12 (Yeah, I know, but I've always wanted one and I found a great deal, so I went for it. It has its quirks, but I love it.)

I consider myself a young shooter @ 27 - got my CWL 2 weeks ago; I CC a Taurus .327 HR mag and a Benchmade Osborne 3"folder. r My 48 inch waist supports that in the pocket with a large belt.

I'm 20, so pretty young, I guess. I've been into firearms since I was 14, spurned on by a video game called Resident Evil 4. There were plenty of neat guns in it, all with different attributes, unique styles, customizations, etc. From then on it's been guns guns guns (guns guns) with me. I only own a Mossberg 500 and a Mosin Nagant, but I do have very easy access to my father's Ruger GP-100 and a Beretta Px4 Storm, as well as a Ruger 10/22 (and a Lorcin 9mm, but I like to pretend that's not really there).

I plan to be ordering a Marlin 336C within the next week or two, and a Makarov PM on my 21st to become my carry gun.

Um, I'm pretty sure the SPAS-12 is banned from import into the US...

Banned for import, yes. Banned for purchase, no. I bought it used. The gun is over 10 years old, so it was a pre-ban piece.

I'm maybe one of the youngest CWP holders on here. I just turned 21 on Nov. 26th and i'm just loving it. I got my permit in less then 8 days i had my girlfriend take me to the WPB office, i was in and out in less then 15 mins.

That being said i owned alot of rifles before i downsized my collection

Charles daily semi auto shotgun (tactical)
Kel-tec sub2000 9mm (glock mags)
Savage .22 bolt action (gift from my father, wish i never sold it!)
M&P 15-22
Arsenal slr-106f (my baby!)

As of now all i have is the slr-106f and my main piece M&P 9c :D

been shooting since i was 11, first gun i ever fired was a jetfire 25 acp without ear muffs, boy was that fun!

@clanman

Security through obscurity isn't really security at all. Everyone who owns firearms should have some basic security measures in place.

But there's also no need to advertise the location of firearms collections. :)
