body armor

Section 720 (criminal code) has something about body armor, but iirc it is only an offense if you're using the body armor in the commission of a crime.

I'm not aware of any other laws regarding body armor, but I have never looked into it.

I checked with a Chicago lawyer about this, his reply was do not violate any other laws while wearing armor. They have laws in place about robbery and the use of armor, or being unlawfully armed while wearing armor.

Just curious but i can find armored vests all day long but where do you find the plates that go in them?
