Top shot show on History

Take the guy last year who's sport was shooting from a horse at ballons or the such with I guess you would call buckshot. now yeah he is used to using the colt SAA but could not hit anything with it with a regular round at a small target.

The Mounted Cowboy shooters use blanks with no projectiles. They rely on the muzzle blast to pop the ballons. Denny from last year said that he hadn't fired live ammo, at all, in several years before auditioning for the show.

There's another Mounted Cowboy Shooter this year. I wonder how he'll do?

Oh, don't mean to offend anyone, but John Guida (S?) was such a...I mean seriously, first, TWO torn hamstrings? You're running 30 meters...and then to back out of the competition? Jeeze...

If he hadn't backed out before the match, his team would have lost. His way, they had a much better chance of winning. He was going to quit anyway because he couldn't run (try it with two torn hamstrings, I guarantee you'll be a wuss too).

I agree that Jermaine beat Jermaine.

I really like the old country boy Chris & would like to see him win it but who will take it I have no idea.

It will be interesting to see how Jay fares from here on out. I don't think they will get rid of him easily. I think the next time blue team has to send someone to elimination they ought to just send him & the guy who voted for him. Get one of them gone so they can clear the air & move on.

I found this interesting too. As I think I mentioned, I completed the application for season two. As I recall, there was quite a bit on the application related to physical fitness. I'm surprised the two guys with hammie injuries weren't culled out in the process that narrows it down to the final competitors that actually make it on TV.

Missed last nights episode what happened and who got bounced? All I have seen today on TV was a couple of guys shooting at red plates with what looked like race guns? Was that last night with the 1911 type race guns? If it was I am sure the pistol guys kicked butt!!!

Maggie the girl on the blue team who does 3 gun got bounced. Im not really into bow shooting and this episode was all about "Were sorry Jay... Please lead our team to victory since you are the only person with bow experience". It got old fast.

Next week looks GOOD thought.

They are bringing JJ Regazzi and Blake from last season and they are running 1911 race guns against a ton of plates.

Looks like its going to be a few mag dumps of rapid fire and then claning up the mess with a little accuracy.

I'm really looking forward to seeing JJ and Blake shoot their LimCats.

Did you guys hear that they are both on the USA team going to the World Championships?...along with Chris Tilly, Athena and Maggie

The people most deserving of being eliminated recently have been the ones to go. Maggie got eliminated after her weak performance. I thought the challenge was neat, and the better team prevailed. The race guns next week look fun.

I was a little disappointed that Maggie left. Both Jermaine and Maggie would have been great assets to the Blue team on the next challenge. It's going to be an uphill battle for them from now on. I think the Red team has the edge now.

Having JJ and Blake from last season looks great. I'm definitely interested in race guns and how they operate.

ya know, im on my 3rd network/system trying to access Limcat.com and its all showing as Forbidden.

Anyone else not able to connect to Limcat.com ?

Same issue here. Looks like they have their webserver misconfigured. Somebody definitely dropped the ball there as the companies whose weapons get showcased on the show are most likley paying at least some fee to have them on screen, and having your website down when that time hits is bad, bad, bad.

Great point you have there!... It worked for me, got me searching for Limcat to just turn up a dead website.

Sooooo... I'm catching up with Top Shot and just finished the Jermaine episode...

My wife is quite upset, and now I'm having a tea party with her to make nice. Hookin' up the compound bow episode now... looks interesting. She likes Maggie too... apparently my wife is in for a double whammy of disappointment.

Personally I like Top Shot, and I also like Sons of Guns. I think that sure there could be less of the drama between the people, but then no one would watch it and it would just end up being canceled like many other shows that some people really like, but the public opinion is low.

You want to see a BAD show about guns? Tactical Arms and Tactical Impact.

Like manure he did.

Eric (the mounted Cowboy) I thought was a better shot than Denny from last season. However, he just couldn't keep up.

Jay and Kyle were the supposed weak links on the blue team in the 1911 speed shooting event, and relatively speaking they were compared to the top pistol guys. But they held their own.

The cup and saucer grip is probably quite annoying to expert shooters. I've personally found it to be unstable. But it's probably just too late for Jay. When Eric tried to follow the tips for using the Racercat, it all went out the window during the challenge and reverted to his own form.

They really did. They went for consistency instead of pushing their speed...especially when Kyle took that extra moment to line up that final shoot to hit the winning plate
