I ordered a S&W 351C today.I wanted a bug/mouse pistol and a plinking gun.Anyone shooting one of these,if so has it been dependable? What type holster do you have? What brand ammo are you shooting?I am looking at CCI 40 grain JHP and Hornady 45 grain XTP:)Thanks for any info.

I can only hope they got their act together this time. I bought a NIB 351 a year ago or so. It would fail to fire two or three times out of every cylinder full. Accuracy was ok for a belly gun, miserable for a trail gun. I sent it back to the factory and it came back working most of the time with CCI maximags only. With Winchester ammo it was about the same as when it left. It's a good idea if it works. Mind didn't. YMMV

I finally lucked onto an unfired Model 51 (for a little more than half the price of the new 351) and dumped the 351.

I've got the 351pd and really like it. Nice to throw in the pocket for a trip to the store. So light you don't even know you are carrying 7 22mag rounds. Accuracy is not bad for what it was designed for.

Very nice! How far does it extract the empties - do they drop free, or require encouragement?

Hmmm...I also own a Noisy Cricket, a 351PD. So this 351C is very tempting...

Great, another consideration to add to the pot for my next purchase....
