Which gun is better for the money? ( For CC )

I recommend the Kel-Tec, either P3AT or PF9, both of which can be had right around $300. They are the lightest and thinnest in their class, and KT is second to none for customer service. They have sent me free replacement parts, no questions asked, even when I told them I lost (Not broke, LOST) the part.

I had the same experience with the 1st-gen P32 I had. I lost the tiny bit on the front that holds the guide rod in place. KT sent me another, free of charge, in hard chrome to match my gun. Very impressive, although I was even more impressed when they integrated that part into the slide on the Gen 2's.

My brother has one of the single-stack Bersa .380's. It's a great little pistol. His dainty wife shoots the heck out of it and she doesn't even like guns. It's incredibly accurate and has little muzzle flip. Never shot the double-stack version. Look around at some of the used trade-ins at AIM, Summit, and J&G. www.gunsamerica.com has some great deals going right now, too.

You can get a stainless Ruger P95 9mm for less than $350 and, no, it's not too big to use as a CCW piece. It's also uberreliable.

There are plenty of 9's in that range. Ruger has a new one and the kel-Tek can't be beat for 270.00 on many sites. Look at gunbroker or buds. I paid 259 for a new LCP-380, so a lot of prices I see here are on the high side. Now $350 will get you a lot of gun. My doctor just paid 413, for a Glock 26 at a shop on Merritt island FL., he beat me by 70 dollars. Go with a 9, if it's your only carry. Meaning you are only going to carry 1 gun at a time.
I carry 2, the lcp and another gun in rotation. I like the idea of having a second gun rather than a reload.

I have thought of the P95, Im just not sure about how well to conceal it being that the size of the Glock 26 and the LCP look very concealable, My local GS has it and asked to see them both and both seem easy enough to conceal.

I would like to stay with something in that range for conceal. I never actually seen the P95 except on Buds so I cant really comment on it.

I would be only with one gun, I would be new to CCW so I would like to get used to it first and maybe add a second one afterwards.

As for the LCP, My LGS has it for $325.00+tax. Buds has it for $290.00 So I would rather just buy from the LGS and would like to establish a friendship with them. There not crazy about layaways because they lost money ( time ) holding those guns for others.

Someone took a year to take their gun out! ( I think I mentioned earlier ).

I just can't see carrying a 380 that weighs ~23 oz.

To me, the only real advantage of a .380 is that you can carrry a small, light pistol--LCP at 11.5 oz and ~$300.

If I were looking at a 23 oz .380, I would much rather carry a 14 oz 9mm (PM9) or an 18.5 oz .45 (Kahr P45).

Heck, I have a 3" 1911 that weighs 24 oz. You can't buy any of them for $350, but the new Kahr CM9 will be ~$400 new, and you may run across a used one in your price range one day soon.

I own an LCP, a Bersa T380 and a Kahr CW9. All have been very reliable and the Bersa and Kahr are pretty accurate. The LCP is a pocket carried point and shoot gun. I carry the LCP a lot because it is so easy to conceal.

I carry the CW9 in a High Noon IWB holster when I am out for the evening. The Bersa is the same size as the Kahr and 5 0r 6 ounces heavier. I use it mainly as a range gun.

I also have a Kahr CW45 that is a very nice carry piece. Shoot them all and pick the one you like. I owned 2 Kel-tec p32s also. They were good little guns too, but the LCP is about the same size.

That Kahr CW45 is $410.00....This I am very interested in. I think it deserves a lay away.....Im a fan of the .45 but Im not a fan boy of them. Don't get me wrong, Im not paticular to one caliber. I wouldn't mind replacing my .45 that got stolen tho.

Thanks for that info.
