I just made a trade on a FN Hi-Power very good condition DOB 1949 best I can tell Austrian police no notch in back strap no rust bluing 97% I see one listed on GB for 1750.00 is this a real number or just fishing? I would like to sell or trade but not a lot of info on this piece FN did not keep great records. Any help from you guys on value would be appreciated. Thanks

Come on guys the only reply I get is from someone thats not been out in a while. I know that the members here got more insight than that.

Thats a little more like it I know GB is always high but I would like to think its a 1000.00-1200.00 pistol which would mean I made a good trade. Thanks BHP

Asking for affirmation after you've made a trade in self-defeating. If you thought it was reasonable when you made it, it was a fair for you...what difference would it make what someone else thinks.

As already said, it depends on how much you wanted it. I've had three over the years, with both fix and adjustable sights...none of them fit me (yes, it took three to convince me of that), but then I never paid more than $400 for one either.

I really like the Inglis models with the internal extractors, but then, I wouldn't pay more than about $800 for one...because I just don't want one enough. I certainly wouldn't pay $1k for a P35 shooter, not with all the Argentinian ones from the Falklands conflict on the market not that long ago

Excuse me Sideways, but I get out plenty, and I usually check prices on items before I buy. You got hosed. Next time: A. Don't be rude, and B. Ask before you make a trade. At least now you're a bit more educated.
