Anybody know if an AMD pistol grip will fit a WASR? If so, do I need to buy AMD grip screw/hardware?

I can't say for sure but I rather doubt it. Standard AK forends/upper handguards have to be modified to fit the AMD so I imagine it would hold true the other way around (though I could be mistaken). I know you can find the standard AK forend with the wood foregrip or you can add some type of railed forend and attach a foregrip much like you would on an AR.

Someone a little more knowledgable in the differences (I'm only familiar with the AMD-65 and relatively new there as well) may be able to give you more information/advice, but it's my understanding that it wouldn't be a simple switch out of parts (ie some assembly required). Good luck with the project!

Having owned both at the same time previously, yes it will fit, and no the hardware is the same. I assume you're talking of the actual pistol grip, not the handguard with a second pistol grip.

Yes, any combloc country's AK grips will fit other country's AKs.

The grip on the AMD hand guard is the same grip, just reversed.

Thanks guys...I really like the Galil pistol grip and the AMD looks close enough.
