Snagged this one today for $40 bucks!

Benjamin1.jpg

Model 132 in .22 caliber.
Serial # indicates it was made in 1970.
Price sticker on the box says it sold new for $29.95.

I oiled the pump leather with air-gun oil, & oiled the linkage with gun oil.
Pumped it up 10 strokes, and put the first pellet through a 1" target spot at 10 yards.

Pretty neat old Huffer-Puffer! :D

*Sigh*

I had one of those when I was 15.

Bought it with the money I made at the local frosty & burger joint.

It was that same model, but with brown plastic stocks.

I was supposed to be my "companion" gun to go with my 5mm Sheridan Blue Streak. Of course they couldn't share ammo.

Sadly, I was a crummy shot with the pistol. No training. Self taught. Just never got to where I could reliably hit anything with it.

Today that might be a different story.

Hello friends and neighbors // Outstanding, nice of someone to store it for forty years so you could enjoy it. At least it looks from here like new.

$30.00 in 1970, explains why I never had one.

Did you find it at a flea market, yard sale or online?

Actually, a friend happened to be in the local pawn shop when a K.U. student walked in with it, and an equally nice H&R .32 revolver still in the box.
He probably got them from his father or grandfather!
Pawn shop guy wasn't interested in it, so my friend bought it for $20.00.

I just offered to double his money an hour later, and he took it!!

The K.U. student probably already spent the $20 bucks on beer or weed last night!

very nice. I've had one with black plastic grips for years and it's never failed. Lot's of fun to shoot inside in cold weather. Put a hurtin' on a few squirrels too.

I have the same one!!! but it doesn't hold air!

I bought it for $10 bucks 25 years ago even though it was broke then too.

Great find RC!

Awesome find. I'm just getting my boy, 5yrs old, into shooting cans in the back yard. Gamo Mod PR-45. I love the pneumatics. Nice and quiet.

Those were great little guns. I had one as a kid and probably shot it 10,000 times.
Don't know what ever happened to it, but I don't remember it breaking.
Nice find.
