Star 9mm frame vs. .380

Any 9mm Star is much larger and considerably heavier than the Star .380s.

(One of the jokes about the Stars -- which are fine guns, by the way -- is that they are so heavy that if you can't shoot the bad guy, just drop it on his foot, and he'll be out of action for a week.)

I've had several, and prefer the Star Firestar model, which is double-stack (with 10 and 13 round mags available.)

I also had a Firestar Plus i liked it once i got used to the triger. Had a model 30MI two and it was a alot uh pistol for sure. Got a Ultrastar now love it shoots better than i do, best CCW pistol i have.
